Casey Anthony–horribly fascinating–or just fascinatingly horrible?
A post on a blog that I read suggested that if Casey Anthony were anything other than a member of white middle class America she wouldn’t be getting this intense media coverage. I disagree. This case has gotten national attention because of Casey Anthony. Period. It has nothing to do with her skin color or how much money her family has or doesn’t have. It has everything to do with the incredible lies she has told and seems to be continuing to tell. We can’t figure her out. None of us can put ourselves in her shoes. In a horrible way she is fascinating–or maybe she’s just fascinatingly horrible. Either way it’s a mystery to me why she doesn’t put an end to this madness and just tell the truth! Of course, at this point, would anyone recognize the truth if she did? Would she recognize the truth–or is the better question, CAN she?

If I were George or Cindy, I’d be sleepin with one eye open. This girl is completely nuts and conscience free. She’s all about the “glory” and press now. Look out folks.

I think it’s facinating because she(and the rest of the Anthonys) LOOK normal-just like any family on your average street….And that’s also what’s so scary!
