I agree 100% Kari–Watching the collapse of this family and the crumbling of each individual is very painful to watch. If Casey’s intentions were to hurt her family by taking Caylee from them, she’s succeeded beyond her wildest dreams. IMO she might as well have taken a gun and shot them dead. The result would have been the same.

After listening to the interviews, what is glaringly obvious to me is just how far round the bend Cindy has come. Seems that even at that time she was clearly not capable of giving a rational, sensible interview. She talked all around the interviewers, repeated things not just once, but 3 or 4 times within that single interview, asserted opinions and frankly contradicted investigators’ findings…

The part that really blew me away was her quoting Casey as saying to her, “I’ve made statements about where we (she and Caylee) were, who we were with, what we were doing, think about it, Mom, you’ll figure it out…”

I may not have it word-perfect, but that’s the gist, and there’s poor Cindy trying to piece together odd bits of info, to corroborate her daughter’s statements that someone (different people in different versions) held her down in Blanchard Park while someone else took Caylee away from her and threatened her and her family.

I have yet to hear anywhere if Casey gives any possible reason why someone would do this—unpaid gambling debts, jealous wife, what??

My dear Lord! And Cindy bought it, buys it, wants us to buy into it, too???

“You’ll figure it out, Mom”! How could she do that to her mother?

Ok, that’s it for me, all you people out there who want to fry Casey have got my blessing. Someone needs to put a stop to her, if only for Cindy’s sake.

And George knows that this is destroying his wife. He said it multiple times… Poor man, no one should be put in that position. He is not able to do the things he feels to be right, for fear of causing Cindy’s final collapse. Meanwhile, he is trying to be there for Cindy, and insofar as feasible, even for Casey, but who is there for him?? Never Casey, and Cindy’s too far gone. Poor man! What a terribly sad affair, please let it just end, soon.

pak31,it strikes me odd that no one ever asked about Zanny,not for her phone number,where she lived,to me where she lived would be extremely important,but they asked NOTHING,VERY STRANGE INDEED.
This is a very dysfunctional and seems to have been that way for sometime. Cindy controls everything,she rules,so they lie to her and to each other.There’s the family Cindy wants the public to know about,her made for TV. and then there is the real one.
You can see how George is taken in by KF’s,after hearing he went for that scam. He has to be the dumbest deputy outside of Barney Fife,and quite frankly BF. maybe a tad smarter!

The trial will be very interesting.he will have to testify to what he said in the interview, and if he changes his story then,it’s perjury.
