July 5, 2011: Casey Anthony-NOT GUILTY

July 5, 2011

Wow. I’m in shock.  I don’t know what to say.  Today, July 5, 2011, a woman got away with murdering her little girl.  Casey Anthony got away with murder.  She can’t be tried again.  She may actually walk out the door Thursday morning for time already served.

All I can say is I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall in that jury room.  It makes absolutely no sense to me how they could have come back with that verdict in less than–what? 24 hours?

George and Cindy walked out of the courtroom with solemn, not joyful faces.  I wonder if they will allow Casey back in their home?

I can’t write anymore right now.  I’m just stunned.

I feel the same way you do…I am sick..almost to the point of tears..this teaches others to LIE, because our justice system is flawed…but be a damn good liar so you can get away with murder…Leonard Padilla was the only one i think hasn’t lied in all this…Casey..Liar, both her parents..Liars.

I have to disagree with you guys this case was all circumstantial and I don’t believe that the state of Flordia did a good enough job proving the case. We can’t continue a society of false convictions. You are talking about someones life here. She lied to a law enforcement officer, the situation with her daughter was a tragedy of unanswered questions. Throughout this case I have felt Casey was not guilty

More murder cases are circumstantial than not. If you don’t believe Casey Anthony was guilty, then who do you think killed Caylee and put her in Casey’s trunk? And why didn’t Casey call the police when she smelled the smell and opened the trunk to see her little girl’s body rotting? Or why didn’t she call police when she noticed Caylee was gone? I would really like to know your opinion.

I too am stunned at the verdict. Just heard Nancy Grace ask Dr. Drew’s thoughts. (He once saw Casey as victim but now sees the truth.) He said if she is guilty, as most agree, she too will “have her day,” like OJ’s Las Vegas, when her dark drive will act out again and get her in trouble, with no dream team next time to spare her the consequence. I know vengeance is God’s, but I pray for that day. Poor Cindy, George, Lee, and most of all little Caylee.

I just heard one of the lawyers from the defense team say (on TV) they were going to try to get the four convitions for lying lumped into one single offense. That would make the sentence a max of one year in jail, which she has already served. As I said in a previous post, she could be out partying again this weed-end.

I think they found traces of weed in the trunk of the car, so actually your first statement could be true. She could be out partying with weed this weekend. lol I doubt she’ll be partying. She will probably have to wear a trench coat, wide-brimmed hat, and big dark sunglasses all while looking over her shoulder for the rest of her life.

Maybe she can hook up with OJ’s pals and take up golfing. She will never be able to live this down. I sure as hell hopes George leaves the state and finds someone in life to truly love him, and hope Casey and Cindy live together for the rest of their miserable lives. Poor Lee he was smart to go on with his own life, I don’t think he was there in court. Even her family is shocked she got off. Prayers are with George and Lee.

This verdict speaks to the state of our justice system and more importantly, our society as a whole. Can you imagine a woman in the 1950′s doing what Casey did during this case? She would have gotten life in prison for her lies alone. Now you can get away with murder if there is not enough forensic evidence to convict you, regardless of all the other facts. The bible states that in the last days (before Jesus return) wrong will be called right and right will be called wrong. I believe we may be in those days………………….

Wow,. Just listening to an alternate witness on HLN and am starting to understand how this happened. This guy says he found it hard to believe there was a dead body in Casey’s car. Everything he is saying is absolutely unbelievable to me.

Also read that Jeff Ashton is retiring this week.

I absolutely believe we could be living in the end times. Nothing makes sense anymore.

The more I think about this, the more angry I get. Casey (and I’m thinking Baez, too) has always known where Caylee’s body was. Always. Why the hell didn’t they immediately say it was an accident and bring that baby out of the swamp? I’ll tell you why. (Mr. Mason) It’s because if they had come forward back in August of 2008 this case would not have become the trial of the century. I hope they are enjoying their champagne.

I’m not sure what you mean about liberalism, Jack, but I’m a liberal and I would have been happy to administer the lethal injection into Casey’s arm. This is the biggest miscarriage of justice I have ever seen, second only to OJ. Casey got away with murder, plain and simple. If this jury didn’t believe there was a dead body in that trunk, then I guess elephants can fly! This jury had to be made up of a bunch of complete idiots to let that murderer walk! The American justice system is now nothing but a laughing stock.

Wow, so many good thoughts on here while I was following HLN coverage. I too am a liberal, but not for permissive indulgence in child rearing. Cindy and George needed the Super Nanny when she was young, and now it’s too late. George tried to rein her in, supported by Cindy’s mom, but Cindy kept walking on eggshells hoping soft love would work. Well meaning, and popular in today’s narcissistic culture, but not biblical (Proverbs 22:6). Billy Graham and Pope John Paul II, among other reputable believers, are on record as believing we are definitely close to the end. None too soon for me. Thanks to Mystery and all of you for keeping me sane and grounded in the midst of this dark madness.

Hey Mystery, I logged into my WordPress a few minutes ago, since I have been basically speechless. My stats were through the roof, I suppose everyone was coming to Motherclucker’s blog to see what I had to say. I hadn’t posted anything. I am not sure what to say. Speechless. I did post a little something. The shock seems to be wearing off of me, and now I am getting angry again. I cannot believe those jurors did this. There is absolutely no way they looked at ANY of that evidence, and made a decision in 11 hours. No way. I think a horrible injustice has been done here, I do not think those jurors properly served the State of Florida. I think they all just wanted to go home, and they could have cared less about Caylee. This is unbelievable. And I was just now getting over the 2000 Election hanging chad incident. Oh well. Another murderer walks the streets. If I were living in Florida, and I had a child, there is NO WAY that I would ever let them out of my sight. Not for a minute. Florida seems to have a growing problem with kidnappings, and murders of children. Something is wrong here. Very wrong.

I am heartbroken.. I am utterly dismayed that this jury discarded all the lesser charged options and basically have set this psychopath free. I am disgusted that Baez had the utter arrogance today to publicly declare that this was justice for Caylee. Did the jury have no understanding of the definition of reasonable doubt? Did they think any doubt was equivalent? I’m appalled and gobsmacked at our justice system that allowed Baez to trash so many people and tell the jury blatant lies and call it evidence.

Will Casey next be appearing with all of her DT on all of the TV shows? Will she get her own Reality Show or just a 2 million dollar book deal?

Remember her jailhouse letters to another inmate – in each of these she stated that she couldn’t wait to get out of jail and have another baby or adopt. I hope she’s changed her mind about that

The perversion of our justice system is more complete today.

Mystery, I too was floored by that alternate juror’s statements supporting today’s nightmare verdict. Sounds like the whole jury fits the “nullification” category we saw in the OJ trial, discounting the whole state’s case and taking the fast track to get home. No wonder they could not face the public or press. Bet that guy with the finger is having a ball tonight over Caylee’s dead body and Ashton’s retirement.

Gloria–Well said. I don’t for the life of me understand how that jury unanimously came to the conclusion that Casey Anthony should walk in such a short amount of time. This was a difficult case with TONS of evidence and these people not only didn’t take notes, they didn’t ask to see anything else after they were handed the case. It’s almost as if they had made up their minds before they ever got there. It is a travesty. And an example of how dumbed down America really has become. I’m past being speechless–I’m FURIOUS!

I am anything but sane and grounded at this point! lol Can you believe these lawyers are partying hearty over their victory??? Have they forgotten that a child is dead? I have no doubt they know–they KNOW that Casey Anthony is guilty of at the very least, of tossing her child out like garbage. If Dominic Casey would step up and be honest, he would say that Jose Baez told him where the body was. At the very least these lawyers have known for 3 years that Caylee was dead. They sat in their offices and looked out the windows at all the people searching for a child that they KNEW WAS DEAD! And Linda Kenney Baden says justice was served today? I’m with you. If we are living in the end times, Jesus come SOOON!! Sorry, I’m rambling I’m so angry!!!

I do not believe they took this case seriously. How else could they have come back with that shocking verdict so quickly? I don’t blame them for not wanting to come forward and explain themselves. They are slinking back to where they came from with their tales between their legs. I’m sorry, but if you are going to make that monumental of a decision, at least have the balls to

We live in a corrupt society so it should be no surprise to any of us that our justice system is corrupt as well. I’ve learned a lot of things through this trial, one is that apparently defense attorneys can say anything they want, trash anyone they want, do anything they want, and there are no repurcusions when it’s proven they have lied, or misled. They don’t even have to prove the allegations they make. They can destroy lives on a whim and afterwards have a party in the window of a restaurant, drink champagne and dance around with their little orphan annie hairdos joyously celebrating their deceit.

I have never posted anything online b4 , I dont have a facebook page or use twitter. But I HAD TO VENT!!! I TOO AM HORRIFIED AT THE VERDICT. Even if Casey didn’t kill her daughter all by herself( I personally dont believe that) she knew about it and had a part in it and is GUILTY!! She is the mother of that precious baby girl and should be held accountable. I think the prosecutors did an excellant job and for the life of me can not understand how any one of those jurors can actually believe Casey didnt have a part in her death. God gave us common sense for a reason. Why didnt they use their common sense at all! I believe that Casey will end up paying for what she did. God will not be mocked as the good book says. God help her when her time comes

Hattie, I am glad you decided to post! I have issues with the fact that all the jurors were in agreement on this, too. Of course, we don’t know their thought process because they have all refused to speak to reporters. My guess is that eventually one of them will come forward and maybe we’ll get a clue as to why they spent less than 24 hours to decide this case.

Lisa, I think everyone is angry and very sad that Caylee did not receive the justice she deserved. But, I sincerely hope that some vigilante thinking they are doing the right thing does NOT try to harm Casey. That would be just as wrong as the verdict she received. Mystery, I LOVE all your raging comments which echo my feelings too. I guess by “sane and grounded” I just meant relative to killing myself. I too am still reeling at the obscene outcome today, but this blog helps me not jump off a cliff. Dr. Drew and Bethany Marshall both commented tonight on the parallel between Casey’s post mortem partying and the defense team’s wild celebrating across from the courthouse, ignoring the death of poor Caylee and strong protest outside. Same gross callousness to the pain of others. Many have noticed Jose Baez’s co-narcissism with Casey, and Mike Brooks call it “drinking the Casey Kool Aid.” I will never understand the psychopathic attraction for sycophants, but they seem to go hand in hand. You are certainly right that God will not be mocked, and what now hides in darkness will be brought to light. Mark Klaas just agreed that she will face her Las Vegas, and I want a front row seat at THAT trial. Keep up the great sharing that so helps us all.

Robin, I watched Geraldo on Bill O’Reilly last night, and I literally wanted to jump through the television and wring his neck. He was saying that Baez and Crew had a right to celebrate their considerable victory, blah blah blah. I think he’s off his rocker. (and of course has already had an “exclusive” interview with his buddy Bozo.) I can’t think of anything more inappropriate than having a party to celebrate that his client got away with the murder of her daughter in the picture window of a restaurant directly across the street from the courthouse. The defense has stated they will be helping Casey ease back into society. That translates to me that they will be helping her with her book deals, movie deals, etc. etc. in order to cash in on part of the payday. Disgusting.

Next is whats in the CAT is in the Kitten,MOM is a total whack job…..as for G-boy he got no balls.Remember she wanted to abort!!mommy said no /had kid to please mommy/when mommy pissed her off …well, the smell. She will sceam all the way too hell, with Caylee on her tail asking ,why??why??
And too end it,this is not over by any means ,jus watch a juror will come forward with sum thin that should have been said or done is my guess.
The justice system in the U.S. needs an overhaul very badly! as for these here pro DP,jus 1 innocent put to death is more then enough, life in prison till you die a very old person is good enuff for me,DP no room for error.
If this girl had been a black girl ,she would have got the DP no doubt!!
Jeez, G-boy must be real proud of her,the SLUT,whore dog is more like it.Seen more dickends then weekends!
I am proud too be a Canadian!!

TLIOTG I have to agree with you on this one. (no, I don’t want to move to Canada.) But I agree that the justice system needs an overhaul. Perhaps we need to go with professional jurors? I also would have been very happy if Casey had gotten life in prison without parole. But, I would have been equally satisfied with the death penalty. You and I still disagree about that.

  50. July 6, 2011 12:27 am

Hey Mystery! While I am shocked and upset, I realize that our God is a Just God and the Truth will someday be revealed. Casey will not have the “Bella Vita” she thinks she will, and neither will her nightmare team. Did you see their party?
    http://www.clickorlando.com/news/28453358/detail.html
Where is OJ today? In prison. Where is Joran van der Sloot? In prison. Where is Phil Spector? In prison. Casey will make her way back to where she belongs. Sadly there will be more victims first, but that blood will be on the jury’s hands as well as the hands of the defense team and all that helped to set a murderer free. God gave us the gift of common sense and a jury was in such a hurry to take the path of least resistance and go home that they were sloppy and did not take the time to care. They did not use the minds that God gave them. Shame on them.

Hi Niecy! I did see the party. This really doesn’t surprise me. This is just the beginning of the inappropriateness. The book deals, the movie deals, the interviews–The defense team and Casey Anthony have gotten a taste of fame and fortune and I hear it’s quite addictive.

I hear the first of the jurors has come forward. I imagine we’ll hear from all of them before it’s over. I hope their explanations make sense because this has made me wish we could have professional jurors instead of a jury of peers.

I agree with you that we haven’t heard the last of Casey criminally. She thinks she has gotten away with murder (and she’s right) She’ll do it again. Next time, she may not be as lucky as she was yesterday.

@ Mystery – The thought of it empowering her – and others – frightens me. What if she killed all the pets ( Dr Glass wondered that in a post on her blog) and the Jury has put her back on the street?
My husband laughed at a profile post he saw on Facebook tonight – It read,’ In America we do jail time time for having marijuana.– But, it’s okay to put duct tape over your kid’s mouth and kill her..’

I just heard on Nancy Grace that Jeff Ashton is retiring; this was his last case. :(
I pray he changes his mind. If I knew where to write him, I would write, begging him not to. Innocent victims like Caylee Anthony NEED him to fight for them.
This is such a sad day. :(

I think the jury has put a sociopath that has killed and gotten away with it back on the streets. Casey stated that she’s a great liar. It’s not a leap to see her committing another crime and trying to lie her way out of it as a “game.” Niecey nailed it. She’ll end up back in jail one way or the other.

Jeff Ashton is going to be on Dr. Drew tonight. Looking forward to hearing him.

Just heard Aphrodite Jones tell Jane Velez Mitchell on HLN that Jose Baez has signed on with the William Morris agency for a “package deal” with Casey for PR representation on any future book deals, media appearances, and reality TV show that has already been floated and Casey has shown interest in. He could then turn any/all proceeds over to her for paying back all the massive debts that will soon be coming after her by Equusearch, local investigators, Amy Huiyzenga (sp?) et al. She has also voiced a desire to adopt other children from other countries, beginning with Ireland, a la Angelina Jolie. Kim Kardashian and other notables have been seen Tweeting about her, and she seems clearly headed for international stardom, with nothing blocking her path. Cindy came to the sentencing hearing this morning smiling broadly, like nothing has happened, George solemn beside her alone in his grief, Lee missing entirely, and Casey stripped of her librarian mask and showing all her true peacock colors. A guy outside the courthouse wants to marry her, and juror #3 is now speaking on camera still defending the verdict. Can it get any worse? The one bright light is a groundswell of online support, currently numbering a quarter million signers, for something called “Caylee’s Law,” which would make it a felony to not report instantly the known death of a child. Thanks again, Mysteruy, for giving us all this emotional/informational outlet, and I love your new style of response to each entry. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

Robin–Wouldn’t it be great if Caylee’s Law was passed? Then at least something good will have come from this little girl’s death.

Of all the outrageous things you mentioned above, the thing that bothers me the most is not Baez getting himself an agent, but that Cindy was sitting in court smiling and talking about how beautiful Casey looked when she walked in. At that moment I realized that she would absolutely take Casey back into that hellacious home, and would probably be the first one to encourage Casey to have another baby. Cindy has just as big a problem as Casey does and they both need to be committed.

Hello again~ One thing I have been wondering about is the lie Casey told about “getting a call from the nanny and I talked to Caylee”.??There was something said this morning during the sentencing. I must of missed this one during the trial. For one, wouldn’t that alone not be a HUGH CLUE to the jury about Casey knowing she needed to lie about Caylees disappearance. I personally think that was something the prosecutors should of brought up more. When the truth came out about the nanny being one big lie- how did they not bring up the fact “how could you talk to Caylees at a nannys when she never even existed??!! I am so proud to be an American but I have to say I am not proud of the way we let our felons and murderers have more right than the victims. I am pretty sure thats not what our forefathers wanted for our country. The laws we have may very well have to be changed. Within the last several years or so our country has changed. With all the internet and media available I think the felons or persons who commit these crimes have an advantage. They are figuring out more and more ways to “legally” get off on charges and do minimum time. I cant say I have much respect for the lawyers that supported Casey. I wonder if they realize they too are lying. A lie is a lie to God.

    Hi Hattie

You know, I honestly think the jurors did not understand the instructions. You can convict a person on circumstantial evidence, and you can use your common sense when sorting through all the evidence. Casey’s statements about the nanny and talking to Caylee, and all the jailhouse videos, take on a whole new meaning when you realize that she admitted in court that she knew the baby was dead during them. No one and I mean NO ONE would make up such an elaborate web of lies to cover up an accidental drowning. It doesn’t make sense!!

The sad truth is there’s nothing anyone can do about it now. What’s done is done. We can only use the experience to change things in the future. I agree with you. The court system may well need an overhaul. With the dumbing down of America, I’m not so sure we don’t need professional jurors, trained to understand the laws and how to interpret evidence.

Hattie, you raise some good points. To your last statement about lying, and the defense team in particular, some say it takes a sociopath to defend one. I personally am disgusted by those who treat the legal process as a chess game and care only about winning or losing. There is no way to tell whether Casey’s lawyers bought into her lies, seduced by her charm, and believe in her innocence, or if they just wanted to take on the challenge of beating the odds against her for personal or professional reasons. I also question the good faith of the jury dismissing the evidence and setting her free. Guess we will never know until all is finally revealed.

Mystery, you are so right about Cindy! After three years of blaming her for protecting that little monster, I had finally gone soft on her once the trial began. But now I definitely see her as the real root of the problem, as Leonard Padilla keeps saying, and feel sorry for George too having to live there with her. That poor man did all he could for years to rein her in with right discipline, but she kept subverting him in deference to Casey. Same thing with her mother when she was robbed and wanted to press charges. Jesse Grund on Dr. Drew tonight opened up still more questions with his portrayal of the whole family as twisted and dark, blaming them for what he sees as Casey’s “brokenness” and “low self-esteem” as the root of her problem. Wish I could be that sympathetic. Any way you slice it, we will never know the real truth. I was stunned to hear a bolt of lightning struck a tree tonight at the site where Caylee’s remains were found. Clearly God’s hand there echoing all of our wrath at this ungodly ending.

We may not know whether or not these attorneys drank the Casey Koolaid, but I think we can be pretty sure of what their motives were to begin with.

I think we can tell what Cheney Mason’s motives were. He said he thought she was guilty on video before he ever took on the case. He also said he would walk arm in arm with her as they left the courthouse after she was declared innocent. It was a huge game to him, and unfortunately for Caylee, it was a game he won. To Baez it was an opportunity. An opportunity to rise above his dismal little law practice of defending traffic tickets and DUI’s. He saw it as a way to skip the rungs on the ladder of his career and jump right to the top. He is now going to be the most sought-after criminal defense attorney in the country just like his hero, Johnny Cochran, was when he won in the OJ trial.

Now Casey will be back on the streets in a week, she and the attorneys will be wealthy within the year and we are all left to wonder, WHAT HAPPENED HERE–WHAT ABOUT CAYLEE??

The hair on the back of arm’s raised when I heard JVM talk about that tree where Caylee’s remains were found got struck by lightening!

During the trial I had decided I was wrong about George and Cindy, and I still feel deeply sorry for them for what they went through on the stand. I thought there was no way they could ever mend fences with Casey after what she did to them in court and because I believed George and Cindy finally realized Casey killed Caylee. Well, the jokes on us! The only way Cindy won’t reunite with Casey is if Casey refuses.

It was interesting listening to Jesse Grund tonight. He says the Casey he knew is different from the monster she is today, but I beg to differ. She texted him saying Caylee was his and she wasn’t. She lied back then, too. Maybe not the full-blown liar she is today, but still a liar.

I also believe there are things “beyond our understanding as humans, and that this is one of them. God will take care of all this in His way and in His time. http://ezinearticles.com/?No-More-Jury-Duty—Our-Legal-System-Needs-Professional-Jurors&id=1178035

Of course professional jurors would mean no jury by your peers from all walks of life, but honestly, during the time of our founding fathers a trial was NOT what a trial is today. You almost have to be a member of Mensa, something most of us aren’t, to understand all the legal and forensic jargon. Lawyers lie to jurists and say anything and everything for the sole reason of winning—no integrity, no conscience, no accountability,no consequences for their actions, and the poor jurors don’t have a clue what to do. Back then, lawyers were for the most part honest and straight forward and no one was trying to beat the system or trying to become instant celebrities. Sadly, that’s not the case today.

Its hard to believe we need to have a law like that but we have got to start thinking about these poor innocent children and protect them, I am not familiar with professional jurors(it sounds very interesting) but as I stated before maybe its time our courts review some of our current laws and realize some of them need to be changed or revised. Sadly, I think the lawyers have the reputation they do for a reason at times. Its all about the money and not wanting to lose a case. I dont know how some of them can sleep at night and carry on like nothing has happened here!!! I for one would be curious to hear Casey say out loud– I loved my daughter and want to know who did this!! I dont remember her ever even saying she loved her- and she sure the hell isnt going to try and find out how she died- she already knows.

WOW!!! Just heard Dr. Drew’s interview with Tracy Conroy, the woman who works with Leonard Padilla who “babysat” Casey for nine days after he bailed her out. Among other jaw droppers (tune in again at midnight ET for a repeat broadcast) she recalled some lyrics to a song Casey was playing over and over again while back at home. They sounded so chilling I looked them up, and they really blew my socks off (like the two movies she and Tony rented at Blockbuster on June 16th, the night she killed Caylee, that mirrored her real life at the time).

I won’t print them all out here, but anyone interested can find them at http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/sevendust/thepast.html. The rest of the interview is equally revealing of the family dynamics, Casey’s ongoing bizarre demeanor, and Tracy’s own discomfort with everything she witnessed while there, beyond what we already know from past piecemeal reports. I fear there really may be no end to this collective nightmare.

Another revelation from Dr. Drew’s interview with Tracy Conroy: like Leonard Padilla, her clear impression of the family pecking order was George at the bottom, ignored and discounted, Cindy “wearing the pants” and holding the power, though walking on eggshells with Casey, and Lee sharing “executive function” with Cindy as the man of the house when present, and otherwise also bowing to Casey to avoid setting her off, until even he, like George, couldn’t take it any more.

Has anyone else been hearing reports of a woman in Rutland MA, named Donna Maclean, claiming she believes her son Michael Duggan is Caylee’s real father? He did die in a car accident, like Casey told several people including Cindy (changing the name to Eric Baker), and shared a striking number of accurate details about Casey and her family with his mother Donna two years after Caylee’s birth.

    “Casey Had Possession”

There was not any evidence presented, either by the defense or the
prosecution, that Casey Anthony gave the child to anyone else between the
time she left her mother’s house and when the body of Caylee was found.
Casey was in possession of the baby. At first, her lie to police, in order to
rule out possession, was that she gave the baby to someone else, namely
Zanny the nanny. However, when that lie was eventually proven false,
as Mr. Ashton said, “Casey came up with another lie”.

That lie, among dozens of other smaller lies, whose purposes were
only to mislead law enforcement, was that Caylee drowned in the pool.
Of course she and her defense team knew that there would not be a
scintilla of evidence to back this up, but why not try it anyway, we have
nothing else. And just maybe this jury will be as naive as the Simpson
jury. Maybe a film of the murder is what a jury really may require.

So the story is put forth in the defense’s opening statement that little
Caylee decided to go swimming without telling anyone (with duct tape on
her mouth and nose?). Then George finds her drowned in the pool (of
course it wasn’t Casey who found her, she was too busy inside painting
her nails or something way more important than watching her child).
George exclaims, “Look what you’ve done, your mother will never forgive
    you for this.”

George continues, “Let’s call 911″. “No, Casey responds, she looks
dead to me, let’s just hide the body. I’m not a lawyer but I think I could get
murder one for this.” George continues, “Yeah, let me get some duct
tape and I’ll make this accident look like a murder”. Casey says, “I’ll get a
sticker, it’ll be just like burying one of our pets.” “Okay, says George, I’ll
get Caylee’s blanket and put her in this laundry bag, then we’ll wrap
everything in a trash bag. We”ll put her in the trunk of your car for a few
days until we can figure out what to say to your mom.” Casey tells dad,
“Oh, I’ll tell her I met a guy who lives far away and say I’m spending time
    with him.”

George says, “You’re going to Tony’s right (Lazaro)? In a couple
days bring the car back here and while Cindy is at work I’ll casually walk
down Suburban Drive and toss Caylee back into the woods where I know
there are lots of snakes. No one will ever go back there.” “Good dad,
replies Casey, and all the cops will have is speculation.” George
theorizes, “well the cops will never ever believe that you didn’t really
kill her and that this swimming pool accident actually happened.”

Casey retorts, “Yeah, but it’s the jury that counts.” George tells
Casey, “true but can they ever find a jury that is so naive, so spineless,
so lazy, so idiotic, so simple-minded and so sympathetic as to rebuff all
the forensics and the fact that YOU and YOU ONLY were in possession
of Caylee. Can they ever really find one that stupid?”

In retrospect, it looks like they did!

Final comment: The jury actually chose to believe that silly, moronic, child-
like swimming pool alternative to Caylee’s death and reject
ALL of the evidence clearly leaving Casey as the ONLY
person on earth who could have done away with Caylee.
All reason and logic points to this. We know that juries
very often get it wrong, look at the numbers freed with
the Innocence Project. Most juries however do get it right.
Sadly, for justice and Caylee, this jury was not one of them.

I realize they didnt have the public information and media that we had, but after listening to the final arguements and rebuttals ALONE!!!!!! that should of been enough to charge her for SOMETHING BESIDES LYING TO LAW ENFORCEMENT??!!!! I personally am disgusted with her lawyers, and I use that term lightly. THE WORD LAW SHOULDNT EVEN BE ASSOCIATED WITH THEM. I have heard that Mason told the media before he took the case he knew Casey was guilty. How can that be????? Not really the jury was just braindead! There were tons of evidence. Below is a letter to Professor Shaffer from Southwestern Law.
    Dear Mr. Schaffer,

I read your piece on the Casey Anthony jury. By the way do you know my friend Mr. Brian Kelberg? I sent
him something I wrote, a tongue-in-cheek scenario on OJ back in the 90′s and he sent me a note back saying
how much he enjoyed it . A jury must also use reason and logic along with evidence to determine guilt or innocence.
The evidence showed that this child was either intentionally or accidentally killed by the last person that was with her,
namely Casey, or she drowned in the pool. Since there was not a scintilla of evidence presented to show she
drowned and there was a ton of evidence implicating Casey (she had possession, the chloroform in the car, the
chloroform searches, the laundry bag, the plastic trash bag, the duct tape, the heart sticker, all from the Anthony
home, we know for sure that someone from the Anthony home killed Caylee. Testimony and the evidence taken
in totality prove beyond any reasonable doubt that one could eliminate George and Cindy as being the culprits.

This leaves good old Casey, and her lies to police, to her parents and to the jury (the ridiculous drowning excuse),
all point to guilt. I think that some juries today get hung up on the minutia of the forensics. Were the parts per million
high enough etc? This was a simple case that would have surely resulted in a conviction back in the fifties before
cameras in the courtroom and some modern jury thinking of “beyond ALL doubt.” Any reasonable jury with the
incriminating evidence that was presented in this case (do you have a decomposition smell in YOUR car, do you
have high chloroform levels in YOUR car, at the same time do you have 84 chloroform searches on YOUR computer,
have you asked YOUR neighbor for a shovel while YOUR child is missing, have you lied to police numerous times
while YOUR child is missing etc). I guess the jury chalked all of this up to coincidence. There have been thousands
of people convicted on far, far less evidence.

This jury was naive, gullible (they believed Casey on the drowning lie), and a little on the lazy side for not taking
the time to go through the tons of evidence presented. Believing Casey Anthony on anything she says has been
proven to be one of the stupidest things a person or jury can do. In this case, that is precisely what this sad jury
    chose to do!
    Larry Blong
    Woodlyn PA 19094

P.S. Don’t know if the jury was privy to this, but when Casey was told about finding a small child’s body near her home she
hyperventilated and got very sick. When Casey was told on other occasions about bodies being found elsewhere
in the Orlando area, she had no reaction. It does not take Albert Einstein to see, when the evidence is taken in
TOTALITY, that Casey is guilty as can be. There will never be justice for Caylee as the murderer (by accident or
intent) walks out of jail on Sunday.

I think they should be investigated. Did they talk about it before??? This was against what Judge Perry told them NOT to do. They never asked any questions. They never asked to look at the evidence.

I guess not calling 911 when a child is found floating in a pool is ok? This enept jury seemed to think so. I would imagine it is quite illegal for anyone but a cerified coroner to certify that someone is dead. Most of these jurors were questioned pre trial for hardship and most were still going to receive their regular paycheck while on jury duty. I guess they saw this as a vacation and when it actually became work, decided they had had enough and just wanted to go home. I hope they can live within themselves for what they did, actually, what they didn’t do.

I am personally linked to this trial like non other. I guess being a mother myself I can not even fathom not reporting a missing child for 30 days or not calling 911 if I found my child dead in a pool. Part of me understands a person can not be tried for the same offense, But I can not understand why the judge couldnt over rule something??? If some new evidence shows up or she does admit something(hahahha) why on earth can she not be arrested. For me that law doesnt make sense. And to think not only did she get off completely but she could make money on this!!!!!!!!!!! SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY WRONG WITH OUR SYSTEM!!! May God help us and our country if this the way “our laws and system work and we have to believe in it”. Frankly I am tired of hearing that on the news– we have to believe in this verdict and still have faith that we still have laws and they need to be upheld. Sorry- I say bull____! I mean no ill harm or hurt to the jury by any means and I hate to see them prosecuted but to think that 12 people OUT OF ALL THE COUNTRY AND THEY ARE RIGHT AND SO BE IT!!! COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!???????? I have never heard of a case like this and to have so many people in an uproar should be telling the judge something. I know his hands are tied. It is over and cant be changed. But I find it unbelievable that the young guy who gave Ashton the bird was treating more harshly than Casey. For a while there I thought- good! To me there was more evidence in this Anthony case than OJ if you can believe that. The jury talked so much about evidence, yet they basically chose to believe the child may have drowned when there was ZERO evidence for that and ZERO evidence for molestation. It still comes down to drowning, for which there was no evidence, or accidental or intentional killing, for which was there was a ton of evidence.
It has to be one or the other. This jury who has since talked about not enough evidence, chose the option for which there was NO evidence. They are nuttier than the OJ jury. The proof of that is when this jury chose to believe Casey’s last lie!

Didn’t the jury realize that Casey’s jailhouse response as to the child drowning of “surprise, surprise” shoots down the defense silly theory of drowning unsupported by any evidence whatsoever?
No drowning leaves only one other possibility. Namely that Casey killed the child either by accident (chloroform) or by intent (chloroform and duct tape).

If you eliminate the drowning fairytale the only logical conclusion left is that Casey killed the child intentionally or by accident (overdose of chloroform). Not an iota of evidence for drowning. The behavior of Casey and George after the death prove that the drowning was made up. Their jailhouse chats are not two people acting out some sort of role. They are not that good of actors. The jury should have used reason and logic, along with the evidence to eliminate the drowning and come to the conclusion that Casey and Casey alone was responsible. A pic of Caylee going up a ladder doesn’t prove anything. And you don’t go swimming with duct tape on your mouth and nose!

The jury foreman talked about not enough evidence but chose to believe the drowning aspect (if no drowning then Casey responsible) with not a scintilla of evidence or that George was lying (about the molestation?). Again not a single witness to back that up or any evidence. Most of these jurors were wimps who were NEVER going to have the state stick a needle in a young girl’s arm, no matter what the evidence showed!

What is sickening is the prosecution had an entire 3 years to prepare for this case and what can I say? They did a horrible job and they should be fired on the spot. Not only did they know they did not have solid proof, they proceeded to waste taxpayers monies to try a case they knew they would possibly lose. That is where the outrage should be and the invesigation. How can anyone defend LE for not checking out tips and not even investigating cell phone records of other’s within that household? The jury made the right decision, direct your anger where it should go and that is the corrupt system in general. The evidence always has pointed to a frame job. Get over it IMOO

How can you explain Ricardo having information about chloroform on his pc, then he deleted it and LE skipping over that fact? Obviously someone within that Anthony home was checking up on Casey’s emails and snooping. The placing of the duct tape on the infamous gascan was placed there on purpose IMO to frame Casey. Who knew Kc broke into the shed and stole gas? George! Think about it. If he placed the tape on the gascans that would remove himself from the duct tape hence him putting the stolen gascans on record with police that would automatically remove himself from anything pertaning to that tape……It’s not hard ppl really…..IMOO

    “Casey’s Last Lie”

In the final analysis, the jury in the Casey Anthony trial had to decide
who they believed was lying (or telling the truth), George or Casey Anthony.
Because the evidence proved by any doubt, that one of them tossed Caylee
away like trash into the swamp. All of the items found at the scene were from
the Anthony home so we can deduce that either one of the two were responsible.

So who was lying about what happened to Caylee? Let’s look at George.
George probably told Cindy a few whoppers in his time but lying was never a
“way of life” for George as the evidence showed it was for Casey. On the
stand George stated that he never saw Caylee after Casey left with the child
on the 15th of June. George also said that he never molested Casey and that
Caylee never drowned in the pool. The defense boasted in their opening that
both were true but never presented an iota of evidence to support either claim.
The River Cruz thing was always a side issue and never had anything to do
    with who killed Caylee.

Should the jury believe Casey, that the child drowned in the pool? I
guess if the Anthony’s didn’t own a pool she could have said that Caylee was
struck by lightning! Same thing. However, the trial didn’t show one drop of
proof that there ever was any pool incident. No proof. Just an allegation from
Casey and her defense. The testimony from witnesses unequivocally showed
to all that Casey was an habitual lifelong liar. Her lie from the start, to throw
off the investigation was that Zanny had the baby. When that lie collapsed
Casey came up with a new one to remove responsibility from herself. That
is that Caylee drowned in the pool. If you don’t believe that story, then the
responsibility of what happened to Caylee falls to Casey.

So the jury, by using reason and logic along with the mountain of
evidence that a dead body had been in the trunk, the high level of chloroform,
the chloroform searches, the lies, Casey’s actions, George’s actions, the
911 call, the jail house conversation and expert testimony, had to decide who
was lying, George or Casey, about the drowning. On one jail house call Cindy
tells Casey about the latest media rumor that Caylee drowned in the pool.
Casey’s response is “Surprise, surprise.” Shouldn’t that have told the jury
something? Casey was basically saying that that was hogwash.

If you vote not guilty you are saying that you believe Casey and that
the drowning removes all responsibility from her. And vice versa. This group
of twelve gullible goony birds actually chose to believe the “Queen of all Liars”,
Casey Anthony. They bought her fifty-first lie, that Caylee drowned in the
pool, and that grandpa George saw the woods as a fitting burial place for his
beloved Caylee. To believe this the jury must have been eating some
mushrooms for lunch or smoking something during breaks. It makes no sense,
no evidence supports it, is from Alice in Wonderland and DID NOT happen!

If we discount the drowning fairytale, we are left with two possibilities,
either that Casey intentionally ended Caylee’s life by suffocation, or that
Caylee died by accidental overdosing of chloroform with tape over her mouth
to keep her quiet while Casey partied. Either one is still murder one. The
only way to exonerate Casey from this is to hook on to the drowning excuse.
Incredulously this lame and lazy jury chose to believe Casey’s last lie!

P.S. I bought some land outside of El Paso, Texas when I was a student
at the University of Houston in 1971. There was a class action suit
brought several years later as the land turned out to be pretty much
desert and sand. I’d love to unload this sandbox. Do you think any
of the Casey Anthony jurors might be interested?

I have to admit I am very uneasy about what the circumstances were at the Anthony home. I do believe there was a lot of tension between family members before this horrible MURDER. But, sorry GasCan George, I just dont see how anyone but Casey is responsible. Say– just for a moment- that Caylee drowned. I saw the pic of her reaching for the door on the patio– but for one, I dont recall seeing the door OPENED??( I could be wrong) That picture could of been taken of her just TRYING TO OPEN the door. Cindy herself on stand said that door was very hard to open even for her. Wouldnt that door be locked and could she unlock that patio door??? I have 2 children and even my son who was quite the challenge :) at 2 &3 (my dad called him BAM BAM ) could climb like a monkey, would move chairs to climb up on cabinets or get into the freezer could not open the sliding patio door by himself at that age. The door was too heavy and most toddlers arms that age are too short. And I just dont see George harming that little girl– Casey had motive , what in the world would George gain by Caylees death?? Those tears he shed on stand talking about his grand daughter , for me, were very very heart felt. He loved that little girl with all his heart. I just think all the evidence about the car and her lying was a big bulls eye. Casey was the last person with Caylee– PERIOD. Even Caseys x-fiancee said– she is guilty. As witty as Casey is– maybe she placed the duct tape on that can knowing that her father would be tied to it. It was all too evident that she would of let ANYONE IN HER FAMILY OR OTHER WISE take the fall instead of her . As far as George reporting that the gas can was stolen- it does sound strange. But, as a someone who was in law enforcement, maybe he thought other things had been stolen as well? Or maybe there had been alot of criminal activity in the neighborhood recently and they were told to report anything unusual. There a 1000′s of reasons and could of’s and unanswered questions- but why was George so anxious to testify and explain everything– and Casey wouldnt say a damn word to say she was innocent under oath if it was “an accident”. Sorry pal it just doesnt make sense .And for the computer- maybe the family members knew something had changed in Casey as well and had a feeling she was “about to do something”. Maybe her mother was checking up on her online searches because things Casey was saying and doing were strange. Obviously Cindy wouldnt tell the police( SHE LIED IN COURT!) SO SHE SURE WOULDNT CALL someone to say I fear Casey is about to hurt someone. MAYBE CINDY FEARED FOR HER OWN LIFE- her and Casey had a very turbulent relationship. I dont know thats just speculation, the whole trial has people wondering and guessing. Your opinion is yours, please know that I mean no disrespect, but there are too many holes in the George they for me

Hey Larry~ I always get a kick out of your comments. I was wondering your thoughts about the release?? Tomorrow is the big day for Caseys release. WOW! I am beginning to wonder if she even grasps the way her life has been altered. I dont care where she goes, or what she tries to change about herself, I hope she never finds peace again. How could she? The guilt she struggles with daily will catch up with her. Maybe??? I think she is so removed already that she truly doesnt believe she had a part in this at all. POOR CASEY- always the victim. I am wondering about all the law suits againstg her and how that will turn out. I heard this morning she is already pleading the 5th and trying to get out of those charges . I feel horrible for the real Zaneida(sp?) her life has been destroyed as well. Casey has ruined more lives and doesnt give a hoot.I wonder if we will even see George again. I am fearful he may just want to be with Caylee . And by the way- I agree that Cindy should have charges for lying under oath. This has been one weird trial thats for sure

Casey had possession of Caylee so the lie was put forward about Zanny. Then when Zanny was proven to be a lie, the world’s biggest liar (next to OJ), came up with the baloney pool story for which there was not a drop of evidence! Likewise for the molestation baloney. No evidence! Casey had possession of the baby and she alone was responsible for what happened to the child. Namely that she either killed the child accidentally or intentionally. The jury was as dumb as all get out. The prosecution had it right, she killed the child to have a fun life. George and the pool were just smoke and mirrors that were thrown at the jury and the jury chose to believe the Queen of all liars about the pool baloney!

“The Amazing Kreskin Tells What Casey Really Did”

Beginning with the paragraph below, Kreskin will explain to you, through his
ability as the world’s foremost mentalist, exactly what Casey Anthony’s actions were
after leaving her mom’s house with Caylee on June 16 2008:

Hi folks, the Amazing Kreskin back with you. I think the prosecution in this case
was just missing a piece of the puzzle. Perhap’s that’s why the jury came back with
the verdict that they did. My senses tell me that Casey accidentally overdosed
Caylee with chloroform to quiet her. Then, after discovering Caylee dead, Casey
came up with a devious plan to remove her from all responsibility. She came up with
the “Zanny took the baby story” and figured she would just bag the child up and toss
it into a place nearby her home that she was pretty certain no one would ever frequent.
It was a swampy, densely forested area about a mile from her home. However, in
case the child was found someday, she would put duct tape over the nose and mouth
of the deceased Caylee, to confuse police, and make it look like the kidnappers
killed her. That’s my take on it folks, and keep on wondering.

    ESPecially,

    The Amazing Kreskin

(author’s note): I wasn’t going to write this story because as much as Kreskin’s idea
is a fairly decent possibility, it makes no sense as to when Casey could
have tried to chloroform Caylee on the 16th of June. She was going
with Tony Lazzaro later on that night to Blockbuster’s so would she
have chloroformed Caylee around 5 or 6pm? That makes no sense.
Was she going to leave Caylee in the back of her trunk, in the heat?
And then when they got home to Tony’s later on, was Casey going to
retrieve the child from the trunk? Hardly.

So it just doesn’t add up that Casey would have tried to chloroform
Caylee so she could be with Tony that night. As sad as it is, the
prosecution had it right. Casey killed the child intentionally in the
afternoon or in the early evening of June 16th before going to Tony’s.
Caylee was dead and in the trunk of Casey’s car when Tony and
Casey were at Blockbuster’s. The incredibly gullible jury chose to
believe that George Anthony was lying about Caylee drowning, and
instead chose to believe the “Queen of All Liars”, Casey Anthony.
Casey herself thought the drowning thing was ridiculous when in
response to that allegation told her mother, “surprise, surprise.”
Cindy had pushed Casey into a corner with her threats and Casey’s
solution was to remove Caylee from the equation in order to solve
her dilemma. Several days later around dusk, so Casey could still
see any snakes or whatever, Casey drove the short distance down
Suburban Drive, put her car in park, opened the trunk, picked up
the trash bag with Caylee’s remains, trudged into the woods and
flung the remains in as far as she could. Casey got back in her
idling car, drove to Tony’s and disposed of her footwear. Casey
got very sick later on in jail when told that the remains were found
with everything from the Anthony home. Only the dumbest of all
juries would ever find this dumb criminal innocent. Looks like the
Casey Anthony jury certainly fit the bill.
