Through the garden gate….

October 27, 2008

No, you haven’t been seeing things around here–there aren’t any ghosts in the belfry—just a little magic out back.

The Work Out Room has morphed itself into Through The Garden Gate.

Why, you say?

Well, truthfully, I wanted a place I could go and relax a little from all the madness of the Caylee Anthony case.  Last night some fool posted a blog that said Casey had confessed and told where Caylee’s body was.  I wanted to believe that so badly.  I frantically began searching everywhere I could think of trying to find verification for his announcement.  Sadly, there wasn’t one.  It’s a mystery to me how someone could actually get his “jollys” by making some kind of sick joke at the expense of Caylee Anthony and the thousands of people praying that she will be found.  There are a lot more sick people out there than just Casey Anthony.

So, I was trying to add a blog that wasn’t so intense and I wanted the title to reflect the place.  The Work Out Room just didn’t cut it when alls I really wanted to do was sit in my garden, sip coffee with real cream, eat a slice of warm pumpkin bread with real butter,  and watch the leaves fall.   Come by for a visit—the gate’s always open.  click here to enter the garden or click the link located towards  the upper right side of this blog.  You can also just click on the picture at the top of this post.

Hello Mystery, How are you tonight? I was quite put off by the cruel and childish prank as well. My God, like things are bad enough as they stand. We sure do not need to add to it. I too was hoping it was true, to end the maddness, and allow the Anthony family a starting place for some closure. I do not like that phrase, but lack a better way of saying it. There will never be closure for the family. They are going to be devastated. Even though they aggravate me to no end, I do feel for them everyday. I have so sick with a bad cold, so I haven’t been up to date today. I guess there is some kind of hearing tomorrow? I am quite curious to see how it will all play out, and how the defense plans to make us all say Ahhh…….now I see!

Although I realize we won’t get many answers until February. That seems so far away. We had a teacher murdered randomly here in our small town a year ago, and it hasn’t been to trial yet. She had been on a walk, and a young man came upon her in his jeep, and struck her from behind. He then drug her into the woods where he sexually assulted her, and kicked her repeatedly around her head, face and body with his steel toed boots. If all of that was not bad enough, he went back several hours later and sat her up from behind, (she was still alive) and stabbed her repeatedly in the neck and chest until she died. The explaination; he happened upon her and just felt like it. Our little town was turned upside down. She had been a teacher at my children’s school. It was awful for everyone, but especially the children. The victim also has two children who were 11 and 7 at the time. They provided counselors at the school for a week to help break the news to the children, and help them come to terms with the lose. Here we are a year later, and we still have not heard a word into the case. I am at least grateful they caught the man, and he is off our streets. Our society has become quite frightening. We just never know.

    Hi to you friendlymom

Wow, that’s just AWFUL!! The world really has become a terrible place–I saw on the news that they found Jennifer Hudson’s little nephew dead. To lose her mother, brother, and now her nephew. So very sad.

Hope you feel better soon–I’m getting the flu shot next week. Since I’m babysitting little Carter, I don’t want to take any chances with getting the flu.

Nancy Grace said that Tim Miller is expecting up to 8000 people to help them search for Caylee.

If all goes well, I will be accepted into the nursing program in January of 09. I have been working on all my prerequisits, and have 7 weeks left. 🙂 I am so close! It is based on a points system whether you get in. My grades are good so far, but let’s hope they are good enough. I will have 18 and 1/2 points when I am done. 20 is the best you can do.

I have been a certified nursing assistant for 23 years, and did not plan to wait this long to go back for nursing, but life kinda happened that way. Now I am back in school at the ripe old age of 40.

Yes, do get the shot. I did not this year, but plan to this week. I usually get it before now. I think all the sugar I got from my little granddaughter was tainted???

Even is they do not find Caylee’s body, let’s hope they find some clothing or something that helps to put that monster away, and gives answers for her family.

OH…this is sooooo nice mystery….love it! I had my blog up and running, then I did something, don’t know what, and it disappeared. Soooo, I’ll try again later.

I am skeptical that they will find her body at this point. The elements have been harsh to that area, and with all the gators and such, I fear there won’t be much left of her. But they may find something to help solve the mystery.

I don’t believe the gators will be a problem. She was already decomposing and I’ll just bet she buried her.

I hope you are right Niecey. With all of the flooding, a grave would have been disturbed by the water. That may actually make it easier to find something.

I’m just believing they will find her. I have a very strong feeling about that. I could be wrong, but it’s awful strong. So many prayers have been said and so much is riding on her being found. I truly believe they would have a better case.

    Hi cj

Mark Klaus was also on Nancy Grace, and he expressed a lot of concern about that many people searching that were not trained. He is afraid they will either compromise evidence or destroy it. He also said that if they don’t find her that will give the defense more ammunition. They will say. “See, all those people couldn’t find her–she’s still alive.”

Good luck friendlymom with your classes.

We had all heard the Amber Alert for the missing 7 year old boy Friday. I thought at first he was taken during trick or treating. That is awful! I heard just a bit ago that Jennifer Hudson identified his little body. I can’t imagine having to do something like that. Poor young lady, losing her mother, brother and then her little nephew. There is so much evil around us. I pray they find out who done it, and the same for the anchor woman. I hope they find her killer too.

I Love it!..I wish we were all there drinking coffee or tea and visiting …There would be no pain or fear there
I feel exactly the same way…that is why I am doing positive blogs this week…I am not giving up on Caylee…she is still on my mind and prayers everyday…but I just need to remind myself of the beauty that exists in this world.
I am a very blessed person…Wonderful husband, terrific kids, and if that wasn’t enough…God blessed me with such sweet friends.

I consider all of you my friends….I look forward to visiting with you all here in the garden. 🙂
