FBI are analyzing a tooth and hair found at crime scene and woman claims she has photographs proving the body wasn’t there earlier
According to OCSO, it will be at least another day before they will be done processing evidence at the scene where the remains of a small child were found. Prosecutors were at the crime scene today. They learned that new evidence is continuing to be discovered, and the search area has been increased from 1/2 acre to a full acre. Crime scene technicians hope to piece together not only who this child was, but how she died and possibly when the remains were dumped.
“We expected that it might have been late this afternoon that this scene might have been able to be cleared, but as we continue to discover items at the scene, we’ll continue to hold the scene irregardless of identification. The medical examiner will make that determination as to when it is proper to make a proper announcement regarding identification,” Orange County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Angelo Nieves said.
Authorities also announced that FBI analysts have begun work to identify the remains by using a tooth and hair found at the crime scene.
Also today, a woman claiming to have been part of a Texas Equusearch team that scoured this area. (huh? I thought Tim Miller said they were unable to do a search here due to flooding?) claims to have photographic evidence that proves the remains were not there when they searched. Investigators reviewed the photos and took her statement.

Well, that should be easy enough to prove or disprove. The woman wouldn’t have been searching alone, so others should be coming forward if what she says is the truth. IMO, if the area was flooded, the remains may well not have been there at a time when TES might have attempted to search. They could have been buried and the burial sight disturbed by the water, or the water could have moved the body to it’s final resting place. Tim Miller stated on video last week that he saw the area, and it looked like the body had been there for a long while. He also said they weren’t able to search the area properly because of flooding.
