Simon & Schuster says no book deals made in the Casey Anthony case, period

August 6, 2009

Simon & Schuster says they have not made a book deal or any other kind of deal with Casey Anthony’s parents, George and Cindy, or anyone else involved with the Caylee Anthony case for that matter.

Rumors that the Anthonys and their attorney, Brad Conway, were in negotiations on a book were reported by a tipster at a local Orlando news station.  Brad Conway fueled those rumors by refusing to comment one way or the other.

Adam Rothberg, vice-president of communication for Simon and Schuster sent an email to the Orlando Sentinel that said,  “Simon & Schuster does not have a book deal with the Anthony’s or anybody else associated with this case,” he wrote.

Give it time.As soon as Crazey goes down for her horrid crimes then everyone will start to come out with books and movie deals.Which to me is pathetic. The one funny thing in this nightmare is that Crazey with all of her need for money and attention will be left out in the cold. She’ll be “Grown-up” jail by then (lol!!)

Judy holiday (love your name, BTW!)

I think you’re right. The “merchandise” (book deals, documentaries, etc) will flow after the trial, and I’m sure Casey will spend the rest of her bitter little life stewing in her jail cell because as usual, Cindy is in control.
