Cindy Anthony told a tv station, WESH2, today that the rumors that she and George have a book deal aren’t true…..BUT, Cindy did say that her hair-dresser has been encouraging her to write a book about what she and George have been going through…….

If it will help Cindy to write, then she should write. She doesn’t have to publish it. If she needs the money, why not? She’s not making money off Caylee, she’s making money off the situation that involves her whole family.

I’ve heard that no one will buy, but I think it would be interesting to hear her explain herself. We have all speculated, and even if she “shares,” her account will be her perspective, her denial?, her truth….so we may still never understand.

Some say (perhaps her hairdresser) that this book will help others going through hard times. If the book is written with this in mind, and with the help of a counselor, then the book would read more as a parental watch book—what to look for, how to handle a wayward adult child, etc. Would this then help Cindy see the truth, as outsiders have seen it?

There’s still the question of prosecution for obstruction of justice. She may need the money for court costs.

I don’t disagree she should write, Id’claire. If she wants to, she should. My problem with Cindy publishing a book is that at this point in time, Cindy has not been completely truthful —She has been caught on tape and on video contradicting statements, etc. I don’t know if she’s been truthful with herself and is purposefully lying, or if she really believes what she says.–only she knows that.

My point is that until she is completely honest with herself, she doesn’t have any business publishing a book as fact. If she has some epiphany and decides to write it from an honest perspective, that’s a different story.

itsa~ I hope you are well. Hi Ostella. I personally think the Anthony’s should keep their self help or their life raising Casey to themselves. There is enough trash on the book store shelves. I have tried for a couple of months to try to see their point and be less judgmental but I have lost all hope. I am tired of the anger at the state. That anger needs to go to the daughter they raised to lie, steal and murder babies. Yes all they did was enable. Done with the sympathy. I have lost children and they are not grieving they are protecting Casey. jmo

    laura–I’m good–hope you are, too.

I thought for a while that the Anthonys were putting all their energy into trying to save Casey so they wouldn’t have to sit down, be still, and grieve Caylee–that would be too painful. But after their performances at the ZG hearing, and George’s drama yesterday and his attempt to be contemptuous (unsuccessfully, I might add) today, I think that’s not it at all. They know the truth–they don’t want the truth to prevail. period.

Mystery…I totally agree with you about G&C not wanting to know the truth….George told the truth to the FBI…then changed his mind…and Cindy knew the truth when she made that 911 call about the smell of a dead body in the car…then the lies began and they have not stopped lying…they thought/think they can lie KC out of this and see nothing wrong with what they are doing…the feeling of entitlement this family shows is unreal!!!!

I agree about Cindy and the book…the truth not the lies…it will never happen…they are not truthful people…I believe this has been their way of life….KC is a product of her environment!! JMO

Hi Laura! I hear ya…. No pity whatsoever here…..

I’m really annoyed that most of the talking heads (except my Mark Eiglarsh, of course) seem to be fooled by Caseys crocodile tears…she’s FAKING- she’s a friggin sociopath- there are no tears in her eyes whatsoever. If she looked “despondent,” its cuz the Lyon told her NO MAKEUP for the hearing, and NO, she can’t go to Fusian this weekend. Not cuz “reality” has hit her….

    I HEART my Mark Eiglarsh… 🙂

Ostella or maybe she is despondent because no one is sending her sorry azz money anymore. I think she broke her bank to pay Bank of America. I am tired of her family and her thinking it is okay to kill a baby because to kill the baby killer would be killing their daughter. Now put a Casey look alike on a noose, like the little girl from Casey’s computer on a noose that looked like Caylee.

If Cindy ever decides to deal with truths she has a lot she could offer to other families with children like Casey. I don’t believe that day will ever come however. I think Cindy’s lies are the fabric of her being. Without them who would she be? It would be interesting to know what Cindy was like as a younger woman.

I don’t believe for a second that there is one little crumb of doubt left with G & C as to who killed Caylee. Anyone who still believes they are blind to the truth is just falling for their lies. They know exactly who killed her and they know exactly when she killed her. It is laughable at this point when somebody says “George and Cindy are trying so hard to believe in their daughter” or “Baez has convinced G & C that Casey’s guilty.” WRONG!!!! They have known for a very long time now exactly what happened. The reason they are still lying is not because they are confused. The reason they are still lying is because they do not want their daughter to have to pay for what she did. That’s it. That’s all.

You are right about the Anthonys, IMO. The reason Casey is like she is and was capable of what she did was because her parents allowed her to get away with everything she ever did wrong from the time she was a child. Cindy made excuses for and covered for her from the beginning. George didn’t— I think he just went along to keep the peace. Sometime after Caylee died, he drank the Casey Cool-aid. Casey has come to realize her family, Baez–no one is going to get her out of this. Her lies have been methodically revealed. She’s toast and she’s starting to understand that.

I agree there were no tears she was swiping at today–but I think she’s starting to realize she’s in big doo-doo. I think Mikka said that Casey lost weight because no one was paying for her candy anymore. She may be right–or more likely, Baez and Lyon are withholding treats to force her to lose weight and therefore appear more sickly.

We are so on the same page on this one. Cindy is doing what Cindy always did. Trying to make everything all right for her precious Casey—-she’s having as much trouble accepting that she can’t get Casey out of this one as Casey is.

George–well, George is as weazely and conniving as they come. He crashes into Mark Nejame’s press conference like a madman, then rolls his eyes afterwards and juts out his chin saying he just wants the truth–while his body language says I dare ya to question my motives!

These people have been behaving this way with each other forever–now they’re trying to force their personal dance onto the public and can’t believe that the public isn’t buying what they’ve bought from each other their whole lives.

I have to say I understand that the A’s love their daughter, and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt once again on the baptism thing. I must say the fruit says more of the same. They say they want the truth, but they get angry at what the truth is. The truth cannot be invented. It is what it is. I think they do know the truth and I think they don’t want it to be the truth. I think if the defense could get her off their version of the truth would be such a lie. I don’t see that happening either. The defense has NOTHING. Today’s hearing really showed me that. If Cindy writes a book, well I’m sure some will buy it, but I’m afraid I just couldn’t.

I agree–If the defense’s “defense” was that Casey didn’t put the body there, they’re screwed. Nejame and Tim Miller saw to that. I bet they’re thinkin’, “dang–it’s back to the drawing board…..”

The problem for the defense is, there just is no defense–she is so clearly–CLEARLY–the only person that could have done this.

I’m obviously not able to see the Anthonys’ hearts and don’t know what their motives were concerning the baptisms, but like you, I think their actions speak for themselves. Nothing appears to have changed.

Ostella, I don’t think Casey’s demeanor had to do with her being sorry for what she did, but sorry for what she’s about to face. So, yeah, sorry for herself. I think she’s realizing that she’s in deep trouble.

Hey, I think the Anthonys know the truth, but they’re saying what they can to help keep their daughter from death row. In their perspective, they are in survival mode…do what you can to stay alive.

In this case, their mantra must be…”We don’t know what really happened…There’s so much we don’t know…We just want the truth….” This leaves reasonable doubt wide open.

But, translated these comments mean: “Yes, we know who killed Caylee and why, but when did it happen? How was she killed? What DETAILS is Casey not telling us? Was she killed in our home? Did Caylee suffer? Could we have prevented this? Why didn’t we see this coming? Is there something more we can be doing to muddy the waters?”

When one of my loved ones died, I knew the truth of their death, but I wanted more “truth” about the last moments, details. The Anthonys can voice this, intentionally with extreme careful choice of words…and they would be truthful in wanting more of the unknown facts… without throwing darts of blame at their daughter. It’s all a word game

    Hey Id’claire

I agree with you that the Anthonys know the truth, and that they are doing everything in their power to get their daughter off scott-free for the murder of their granddaughter. They are, as you said, doing everything they can think of to “muddy the waters”. George proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt yesterday when he said, under oath, that Leonard Padilla and Co. were there strictly to protect his family and conveniently forgot about their covert meeting in a warehouse district to discuss bailing Casey out of jail and how best to protect their “asset.” He didn’t know where the money came from? Come on. Everybody and God knows where the money came from. How do you forget that? The short answer? YOU DON’T.

But, I disagree with you in that I think if they really wanted to know the details of what happened– how?, where?, why?, did she suffer?, could we have done something?, etc.–they wouldn’t be skirting the truth, they would be embracing it and moving forward from there. They won’t even admit that their daughter could have maybe murdered Caylee. They want to blame everyone around her, (except themselves of course.)

I agree they are playing “word games”–but not to get details without throwing darts at their daughter. (If that’s the case, it hasn’t been working) They don’t want the real details to come out if she’s involved. If Casey did it, they want to CREATE a new truth and therefore new circumstances around how it happened. They are doing their damnedest to make that happen, possibly to the point of committing a criminal act.(obstruction of justice)

I’ve said before that in the beginning I really believed the Anthonys were trying to work through their grief by avoiding the truth that was staring them in the face. Now, I think if you believe that, you’ll be waiting til hell freezes over for them to experience their AH HA! moment, because that light bulb came on a lonnnnggg time ago. It happened the night they picked up the car, smelled the death stench, dragged Casey home from party central, and literally forced her to tell them Caylee had been gone for 31 days.

That’s just my own opinion, and I certainly respect yours, even if I can’t completely agree with it.

  34. Id'claire permalink

Well put, Mystery…I guess I’m trying to logically assess the Anthonys…in some way.

Remember after George’s recent depos with state, Conway stated that the Anthonys were there to answer questions and tell the truth that they’ve been telling all along? How could this guy say that? He’s heard everything we’ve heard, more in fact.

No, IF the Anthonys are saying they want to know what happened (in reference to details,) they know they will never get that truth because only Casey knows it. They know she will never face it or tell it. This is the One Big Lie that Cindy will never get to the bottom of with Casey. 12 other people are gonna have to declare it to Cindy at the end of trial.

They will also never get this truth because they are not pursuing it, just like they never looked for that nanny. They know they can’t pursue it because they would be nailing their daughter. So these statements they make about seeking the truth are hung out there, drifting… partly the truth, compassion oriented…. like wearing Caylee buttons and releasing helium balloons.

So they say they want the truth (more details), but they refuse to go get it. [Is this truly wanting the truth? Logically speaking, it’s a lie. To want something so badly, but not going for it.] Baez and Conway scripted these answers for them to make them sound on the fence about their daughter’s involvement while at the same time making them sound truthful and like desperate, caring Grandparents.

I think we are in agreement, Mystery

I hate to sound mean. I go round and round with the compassion for these people, but I think they really don’t think anyone has the right to make anyone in their family accountable for anything. They act like they resent the situation, when the reality of it is, their daughter did it, and if they could get her out of this, (I don’t believe they can.) I wonder if they would be able to sleep at night in the same house with her. We know they had quite a history of calling 911 before all of this happened. Could you just imagine the tension? After learning that she was doing computer searches for how to make weapons out of household objects, neck breaking, chloroform. Could you sleep in the same house with someone like that? I know appearances play a big roll here too, but I can’t help but wonder if they really have thought all of this through. Why don’t they resent Casey for taking Caylee from them? I keep coming back to a lot of this being an act. I’m sorry if that’s too harsh, but that’s the best I can come up with. A book will one day happen if the charities don’t pan out, or a movie, or both. I do believe that. I hate it that I do, but I do. JMO.

niecey, I don’t believe You sound harsh, You are just saying how You feel.
Every one here is saying how they feel and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.
Myself I couldn’t do what George and Cindy are doing looking at Casey knowing what she has done and not feel Resentment toward her.
I also agree that it would have to be a very awkward Situation if Casey would be
by any Chance come back to live with her Parents, which I believe won’t happen
anyway. It would in my Opinion not be a save Living Arrangement.
How could they ever look at Casey and not wonder what she would be capable of next. I believe there is a lot of Anger and Resentment on Behalf of Cindy towards Casey. She is just trying to hide it which is not to hard to do since Casey is safely put away in Jail away from the Wrath of Cindy, not so much George. JMO

    It would be hypocritical of Cindy to publish a book before the trial…doubt if many would waste $$$’s for it BUT I have no doubt that she will do so after the trial as by then I am sure the donations would dry up. {This is assuming and hoping that KC will be found guilty.}

For the sake of their own sanity……The Anthonys just need to let potential jurors and the public know that they are not idiots and they KNOW that Casey indeed murdered Caylee, but they still have love in their hearts for her, for the way she used to be…….um That would probably be maybe 10 years ago when she was a child (preteen). Unless she was an evil child too. I wonder when she turned into that monster with a pretty face?

I have always found the Ant’s opinion of the whole public situation to be akin to that of a family who shot their dog in a particularly hideous fashion in the middle of the street during a neighborhood parade and picnic. They think everyone else should mind their own business and this is a closed family affair.

To them, Caylee was their possession just like a family dog. She got put down and it is tragic and they are sorry and sad, but in the end, it was their dog and their business and everyone else should stay out of it and they will handle it all on their own, it is just another major KC screw-up.

I do not believe the anyone in the Ant family sees Caylee as a person that deserved her chance at life and justice for all of her future being ripped away.

If they really felt that someone outside of their family killed Caylee, they would still have PI’s out looking for the killer. You don’t spend $30,000 on a boat when you could have used that cash to fund a PI for another few months, especially if you have all this ‘evidence’ that the body was planted at the site after your daughter was jailed.

The truth is if they loved Caylee, they would either not be standing in the way of justice or they would be pursuing new leads to find Zanny or whoever it is they are blaming it on today, but either way, they would not be busting into news conferences accussing people who helped them with an open heart of falsifying evidence and possibly being party to movement of the body.

That’s a good question, Diana. By some accounts, Jesse’s included, Casey didn’t turn into the party girl/liar/thief til the last few years–others say Cindy had been covering for her since she was little.(Cindy’s family) The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.

But, if she truly is a sociopath, and there are a lot of indicators that she is, she’s been this way from birth, and as she grew older and got farther out of her mother’s control, it manifested itself in a way that couldn’t be ignored. (hence her friends saying what a liar she was, etc)

I think they loved Caylee, but the attitude is, she’s gone and there’s nothing they can do to bring her back, but there’s still a chance to save Casey, and the truth be damned, that’s what they’re gonna try and do.

I wonder if Casey has a clue of how much she means to her mother? It was so pathetic watching Cindy try and get Casey’s attention in court the other day. All Casey had to do was throw her a crumb……..Really quite painful to watch.

Too bad that Caylee didn’t have that kind of devotion from her Casey–or Cindy for that matter.

The odd part is that this book will only be sold online and you have to register to order. Your name, address, and vital stats get sent to Jose for inclusion on the ‘They Might Have Done It But My Client Did Not’ list, where you will join many hundreds of TES volunteers and anyone who donated less than $100 to the KidFinders or CMA website (if you donated more than $100, they left you off the list cause you might donate again).

I agree it was painful to watch Cindy begging KC for a glance, almost as painful as watching George mouth I love you to KC, and her ignoring him.

I don’t understand why KC treats her parents this way because other than Jose, they are the only ones standing by her and it seems clear they have forgiven her.

I remember her getting mad on a jail vid about how they would not raise the money to bail her out. I wonder if she is still blaming them for her being in jail now, even though there is no possibility for bail. I don’t think logic is a priority for her, so I feel that she does blame or hate them and no longer feels any reason to hide it like she did when home.

Cindy, George, Casey Anthony, nor ANY other low life in this case, will make much money if EVERYONE who is disgusted that a baby killer gets off scott free, REFUSES to purchase/watch/read ANYTHING that is produced concerning her/this case. Boycott ANYTHING/ANY COMPANY that is paying Casey Anthony, ANY Anthony family member, juror, defense council, etc for their appearance/work/thoughts. This white trash wonder should not profit. Boycott the advertisers, turn the channel when these losers come on. Refuse to provide service to them. Leave an establishment when they come in. Business owners will pay attention and ask them to leave. Publishers wont give people like Cindy and Casey HUGE advances for their fictional counts of the real events if they wont make money. The power is all ours. Our money will either make this white trash FINALLY get REAL jobs instead of profiting of the murder of Caylee, or we will make them millionaires. Personally, not one thin dime of my money will EVER go in the pockets of this scum of the Earth. Even though I like HLN, InSession, etc., as soon as I see ANY Anthony family member, any member of the defense team, including past members like Linda Kenny Baden, I will turn the channel. They wont get ratings from me watching. Hopefully, everyone who is outraged will do the same and the advertisers will pull out, media will not pay them, publishers will not pay them, etc. etc. The potential money that could be made fueled this fiasco of justice, it’s up to us to make sure NO ONE profits from this little girls death. Write those emails to every network, publishing house, etc. …. make those phone calls to the companies who have been bombared with BOYCOTT mail and have taken their contact email off their websites due to the public flooding their servers. Baez has a talent agent, seriously? Write your letters of disgust. If you don’t let these media outlets know, they will continue to profit off murder.

Anything from this family would not be the truth. I was disappointed with the trial, the outcome and no justice for little Caylee. But it’s kinda like a horrible accident on the freeway we all want to look and see….I especially think Casey is a crazy as hell bitch…deserves the worse in life…because she killed the best in life. How the jury can say there was no evidence. 31 days was my evidence. They did not do their job and now they are crying and hiding about their verdict and wonder why over half the people in this country are pissed off…..let Casey come stay with them, one at a time, in their homes….be her friend…look the other way. She is a certified liar….remember that folks. NOTHING she says is the truth…..she is back to smiling, popping up her eyebrows, trying to be sexy…..I wish her only the worse in life…..until her death and then straight to hell never to see little Caylee again….she had one chance and she blew it as a mother.

The Anthony’s will only get rich if WE THE PUBLIC buy their books or go to any movies that may be made about them. They were so many lies by Casey and her parents who could ever believe anything that they would write. The book I would buy is one that Casey confesses she murdered her child.

Casey tramp learned how to be a pathological liar early in life from her mother Cindy. It all started way back when Casey lied to her mother as she decided to drop out of high school in her senior year where she never graduated. Casey lied to her mother then and her mother (Cindy) lied to her parents when they showed up for the graduation ceremony. Casey tramp is nothing but a selfish, self-righteous, spoiled brat of a drop-out enabled by her mother and father. Worst of all they now will all be millionaires for it. I wish they would all just pack it up and move far, far away already.

My thoughts of the Casey Anthony Trial July 5th 2008:

Supposedly, the prosecution did not have enough solid evidence to prove guilty beyond reasonable doubt. However, this always was a circumstantial case (use your common sense jury) How much evidence does one need to determine the duct tape was the weapon used to suffocate, the motive was for Casey the unrestricted freedom to do whatever she wanted and when she wanted without her little kid holding her back. My opinion is this: The body was left in those woods in June 2008 & first spotted in August 2008. If that Orange County Sheriff had only walked in the woods and investigated what Kronk told them back in August of 2008 like they should have, they would have had all the evidence they needed to convict her beyond reasonable doubt. Instead they went in December & spotted the remains 6 months too late. The entire case would have had a much different outcome. Because that cop failed to investigate as he should have, they would have had DNA, possibly finger prints on the duct tape and the crime scene would have been a much fresher one to work with. So now the book by Casey Anthony ~Bella Vita~ “How I Lied to everyone and got away with Murder” is coming to bookstores near you. She will profit millions. I say, just because she was found Not Guilty doesn’t necessarily mean she is innocent. Her day will come in the end.
