Did Cindy Anthony trip up? You decide.

September 14, 2009

Cindy scowlingI ran across these YouTube videos this morning and was quite surprised.  We’ve all heard these clips before, but I hadn’t listened to them since Caylee was found. They took on a whole new meaning…..

Freudian slips?  You decide.

i believe, cindy know what happens, cover up for her daughter from the beginning!

I wonder, Mikka. It sure seems like she knew more than she was saying and was trying to “complicate” things…..

Cindy Anthony hijacked the investigation by claiming false sightings of Caylee to be true and by refusing help from anyone that wanted to help find Caylee. She covered up big time and knew what Casey had done.

It sure appears to me that she knew something–whether she knew it for a fact or whether she “instinctively” knew Casey did it. These clips sure do seem to indicate she knew something, or suspected something maybe. I have a hard time believing she knew that baby was just laying out there in the woods. She did love her.

When did Cindy state the first clip about them thar woods?

Don’t know for sure, but she said that they had wasted 4 months not looking for a live Caylee in the clip. That would put it to the middle of November—-which was about the time Dominic Casey was traipsing around in the woods near where Caylee was found wasn’t it?

These are definitly freudian slips!!! I believe casey was sending messages to give clues to her family about where to look. Too many speech slip ups, also when casey said she believed caylee was “close to home” she actually says “close to hope” if you listen closely. hope like hopespring drive. likely a clue or a freudian slip that gives us a clue.

Rachel, I’ll have to dig up that jailhouse video of her saying that and turn up the sound.

oh, by the way, i do not think it was a freudian slip(jmo) i believe that she is STUPID! Almost as STUPID as her killer daughter they both feel they are smarter than the average bear and other people are just plain stupid. ironic, isn’t it?

midget–well, she was trying to imply that the big bad wolf that kidnapped Caylee moved her around–and that she knew who did it, etc. Same crap George was saying, trying to indicate that their PI’s were hot on the trail of the real kidnappers. All just a smokescreen to try and create reasonable doubt cuz’ we know now that they couldn’t have known any of that. Dominic Casey was their PI and all he was doing was helping them “create” false live sightings.

And yeah, “stupid” comes to mind for me too.

This reminds me of a clip where George says something about how he goes outside and looks up into the sky every night knowing Caylee is out there – which always indicated to me he knew she was outside in the woods.

Then there is all that Lee Speak when he is asking KC on the jail vid about where he should look and if it was someplace he already knew about and all that coded talk about an exact location.

Hi Spacely–I need to dig that jailhouse video with Lee up and re-watch it with new eyes. Would be interesting to see if there are real clues in it that we might recognize now.

the last person seen with this live child, outside the family who might lie, is Cindy Anthony.

Just bec Georgie says he saw her the next day doesnt make it be true.

Cindy or did you mean Casey, Poze?

can anyone here tell me what their husband, wife, daughter was wearing to work 31 days ago? Really? what color shirt, pants, etc or what TV show you might have been watching that day? Cmon dude. You Cant. I Cant. And George cant. He rehearsed it and it has now failed him.

and boy dont Georgie get angry if Morgan asks him about that last moment he saw “his granddaughter”.

cuz George never WANTED to lie. He Has To. And He Did.

Heck, I couldn’t tell ya what I have on now, let alone what my husband had on a month ago.

I thought that was nuts the first time George said it. An obvious boogaboo of a story. The question begs to be answered. Were they really lying from the beginning? And why lie about something so stupid when he could have told the truth and no one would have questioned that George couldn’t remember what they had on? Makes no sense. But, then, nothing about any of this has ever made sense.

“IF YOU TELL THE TRUTH YOU DON’T HAVE HAVE TO REMEMBER ANYTHING. ”

Cindy and George could have learned from this writer, how arrogant they are to assume they rise above this one.

I can totally believe Cindy knew she was in the woods and left her there. Cindy loves KC far more than she ever loved Caylee and has spent the last year proving it. If she really loved Caylee, would she have waited for an entire month to report her missing? When she finally did, would she have made two false 911 calls and never mention Caylee?

I wanted to believe Cindy. I spent the first several months saying ‘but Cindy was so honest and heartfelt on the 911 call, she could not have known’. I lost that belief in December. I now think it was all part of a fight between KC and Cindy and the emotion you hear in the call is the anger, frustration, and dissappointment she feels for KC, not feelings for Caylee.

You add up the month of Caylee missing, the fights between KC and Cindy, the washing and destruction of evidence immediately upon retrieval of the car, the first two 911 calls which don’t mention a missing child, Cindy’s early (near immediate) refusal to help police when they come to the obvious conclusion that KC is responsible, the pouring of the concrete patio in the backyard, and the coded jail house talks and you don’t end up with a loving grandmother – you total up to a conspirator covering up this crime from day 1 of LE involvement. I don’t know what happened to Caylee, but I am convinced Cindy does and has since before she forced Amy to take her to KC.

Hiya my l♥velies…in the unlikely event that Cindy is telling the truth {cough cough} why make the final “move” to a place soooo close to the road AND told Cindy about it…sorry that won’t “wash.”

Methinks Cindy was 99% sure that KC killed Caylee as soon as she smelt the decomp…this resulted in her initial cover up mode. Now the $$$’s that she can make from the death of her grandchild is totally consuming her.

Bozo will now tell us that the “kidnapper” put her there to frame KC.

Meanwhile there is a bridge between Oz & Florida that I would like to sell him.

    Wot a load of codswallop!

    Hugs ♥♥♥

I think you are right Jill. It’s kind of like John and Kate Plus 8 in a sick sort of way. Like Kate, she’s become so obsessed with the fame and fortune that she totally lost sight of the little human being that got lost in it all. (Okay, that was probably a very poor analogy. I had a long night and should go take a nap now.)

  23. September 15, 2009 5:18 am

    Hi *Mystery,
I think Cindy knew that something was wrong when she was not allowed to speak with Caylee for a whole month. When they got the car back, and she said to George….It’s the pizza, right? She knew right then and so did he. You would have to be a total moron to dismiss all of the glaring evidence even in the very beginning. She then decided to start the blame game and the cover up for her sick daughter. If she would have really been a grieving Grandma instead of attacking the public, detectives, equisearch, and anyone else who had any common sense, then maybe she would have garnered sympathy instead of hatred. This is the most hated family in the U.S.

Hi diana. You are right–Cindy and George have brought a lot of their current misery on themselves–not the initial tragedy–but because of the road they’ve chosen to travel.

Wow. Great clips. I agree too that mom Cindy knew/knows a lot more than she’s told so far and by her comments, it shows that. There are so many instinces but one thing that always got me is how defiant Casey’s parents were about Caylee not being dead, or that Caylee was alive etc. IF they were innocent then they would really not know for sure, so why were they so sure about her being alive?? I know that no one wants to admit a person they love might be dead but if they showed a little bit of maybe in their comments, they’d be more believable. I would think, from what I have seen from innocent family members of a missing child, that you would fear the worst but hope for the best. It’s just natural. Plus, if the relationship between Cindy and Casey was rocky and they loved their granddaughter so much, it amazes me how much they stick by their daughter. Their actions just seem to be more about protecting Casey than finding justice for Caylee. Even when Caylee was found, it didn’t seem like this big shock by them. I think it’s obvious that the entire family knows the truth and they are doing and saying what they can to help Casey. Actions speak louder than words.

I agree, Pak. As much as you would desperately hope that your child was alive, you would have to be sickened with worry that he/she was dead. The odds would make you feel that way. After the smell and the lies and the sheer lunacy of Casey’s behavior, (but mostly the fact that their was human decomp in the car and a hair that was either from Casey or Caylee)–you couldn’t possibly still believe the child was still alive or that your daughter had nothing to do with her death–unless you were a loon yourself–which is a distinct possibility!

diana, you are correct. To be honest, I’ve never really seen any real emotion from the grandparents over Caylee.

    Id’claire,

I don’t think Cindy was involved in Caylee’s death, just the conspiracy to protect KC.

But I do believe that Cindy thought Caylee was dead before they retrieved the car. She told KC on the 911 call that she had already given her 30 days. Why would you give your daughter a deadline to produce your granddaughter? She is asking for proof of life. You only ask for proof of life when you believe someone to be dead.

And remember that when George went to the tow yard to retrieve the car, he made it clear in his police interview that he feared he would find Caylee dead in the trunk and that the smell intensified that fear. I mean, a bad smell is a bad smell, but even one that smells like death does not kick off an immediate fear that a member of your family is dead. More likely, you would go through a ton of ‘OMG, what did she hit?’ or ‘Did she leave a roast in the trunk?’ or ‘Do you guys have a sewage problem at this yard?’. But no, he was so fixiated on Caylee being dead that even the tow yard guy picked up on it and said in his testimony that by the time they reached the car, he was starting to piece it altogether himself as an outside observer and came to the same conclusion that Caylee would be found dead in the trunk.

So, it seems obvious to me that the Ants feared Caylee was dead before they ever went to the tow yard and for some period before, as that would be part of Cindy’s 30 days.

Now, granted, I am sure they tried to convince themselves it was much less, that maybe she was really with a friend at the beach or whatever, but the fear she was dead was in them to the degree that others around them picked up on it.

But Cindy made her choice when she washed the clothes. She knew then for sure what she had feared was true. Whatever love she held for Caylee she sacrificed on the altar of KC then and there.

I for one in the beginning felt for the Anthony’s. This lasted for about 2 weeks.. After seeing how their daughter acted I thought to myself, you know what? Allll of them act similiar in nature! No emotions whatsoever! This of course is due to the fact that they have been working overtime to try to convince and try to fool LE that Caylee was still alive and to cover their own tracks and buttocks! Not only was KC steering them away from obvious places so was Cindy by lying about the babysitters, Casey working , the whole nine yards. This was in play since day one! After all, Cindy took off last week of June, beginning of July to redo her backyard. I think she was covering up a crime scene.
That being said. I often wondered why Cindy never mentioned Caylee during the first 911 call. It was about stolen money and a stolen car. If I were to find a car that reeked of decomposition that same car my 2 y r old granddaugther was suppose to be in, well I think that would be the first thing on my mind then. But no! It was about money. That does raise a red flag! Where the hell did she think she was? I dont believe a word anyone in that family has said but has successfully fooled investigators in believing that they had nothing to do with it. The stalling was to allow poor Caylee’s body to decompose. Cindy was right about what she said. Casey isnt smart enough to do all of that. But in my opinion Cindy and or George are. AFter all. Cindy is a nurse and would know how to use Chloroform to get rid of smells etc after death and clean up after death. This is what Nurses used in nursing homes etc. GEorge would know also. As he was LE. Casey cannot admit knowing anything, or it’ll implicate herself, not even letting anyone know that mommmy dearest knew. This is why she hates her parents and this is why she was losing it on that jailhouse video. The grandparents showed clearly they were enabling Casey to continue the lie for obvious reasons. Casey felt like she was being thrown under the bus when her father said to her that she was the boss now. Basically saying it’s all on you now dear! Remember, Casey was desperate to talk to George alone. That is because she needed direction. If she did tell anyone that she knew what happened then she’d have to admit guilt even if one of her parents could’ve beeen the guilty party!(not suggesting they are) but…..

I ask this question: Do you think Cindy’s RX drugs were used as some kind of babysitter? Do you think Cindy booted out Casey and kept Caylee? Does anyone believe Cindy could’ve been in a rage upon returning home to only find out Casey was yet again not at home! I dont believe a word Cindy Anthony says and it’s my opinion that something happened in a fit of rage but at whos hands?? Both Cindy and CAsey?? Was Caylee abused during the brawl, was she caught inbetween a major fight between mother and grandmother? I wonder!

Casey was lying wayyyy before Caylee was born, not just when Caylee went “Missing”. Obviously there was something going on in her family as to why she couldnt tell the truth. Who was enabling the coverup of the baby even while she was in the womb?? So that says a lot to me!
I think Casey was a sheltered child growing up, just like CAylee. That is why she was going a bit crazy with boys, drinking, drugs etc. She was on escape…..I do think we’ll hear a lot more about the dysfunction in that family and i’m predicting a confession before the trial begins!

Cindy since day one covered up the fact that her daughter was even pregnant so what does that tell me?? That she was embarrassed about Caylee, hate to say it but just look at all that Cindy Anthony has done. Coverup the pregancy, coverup the bio-dat, coverup CAylee missing….There’s a pattern here.

    They all knew–

Interesting theories. I had never given much credence to the the idea that Cindy or George had anything to do with Caylee’s murder. My big argument was that Casey Anthony would never cover up and take the knife for another human being even if it were her own mother or father. Hadn’t thought about her keeping quiet because if she implicated her parents she would also be implicating herself.

I still think Casey would never cover for someone else for any reason. Once she realized she wasn’t just going to happily skip away from this latest “incident” in a long line of “incidents”, she wouldn’t have wanted to suffer punishment alone. She would have taken down anyone remotely involved in on her dastardly deed.

She’s been sitting in a cell for a while now watching her mother and father appear on television, watching them start a foundation, watching her dad playing with his new “boat”, watching her mother’s physical appearance become more and more polished in her dress and make-up, suspecting that they are putting some pretty hefty pricetags from the “licensing fees” they are charging for their performances. She also has to know,( even bozo would have made it clear), she’s really facing the death penalty, and the best she can probably hope for is a lifetime in a jail cell. Casey was angry at her parents even in the beginning for all the attention they were getting. After all, SHE was the real celebrity, and she was having to sit in a jail cell. She wouldn’t have stood by long and let her mother have the glory that was rightfully hers.

So, I think it’s possible she might have told Baez the truth. Baez, not wanting to lose his chance to become the Johnny Cochran of the Hispanics, sent Dominic Casey to search the area she sent them to. Dominic never managed to find her body. When Kronk did a month later, the cover-up was kicked into high gear.

That’s not to say Cindy and George didn’t “know” that Casey did it from the beginning. I think in their heart of hearts, they did know. That’s why they were so deceptive from the start. I think it was more “heartfelt” then–they hadn’t met Kidfinders yet and learned about all the money they could make from their tragedy.

I think they will bring down whoever they can blame and get away with it. I don’t see how they can completely abandon the Nanny story. Supposedly, Casey is sticking to “The Adventures of Zanny the Nanny” even today.
