Wow! She should do splendidly. If the story makes these blogs sensational and popular, 48 hours should get a good run with it. Her appearance should be very interesting.

She’ll probably get bashed for everything she says and does on that show, but I don’t see anything wrong with her doing it, expressing her opinions, and making money off of it.

We’re can’t change what we don’t like (not hate) about the Anthonys, such as their inconsistencies and treatment of LE and Tim, etc., but maybe (or maybe not) we’ll find more understanding for them.

It would be nice if they could use their air time to redeem themselves(?)…but that would mean something different to different people. Humility would be involved. “I would like to take this time to say….we were so stressed, we didn’t realize who our friends really were, those who were willing to help, but whom we rejected…”

But I doubt Cindy would have much say what the segment would specifically cover.

Well, of course she has the right to be on 48 Hours, and she’s within her rights to make money off the death of her only granddaughter, though I personally find that despicable. But, I see plenty more”wrong” with it if she uses her time on air to spin lies about what has happened over the last year. If she uses that time to throw out false facts that is wrong. If she uses that time to try to taint a jury pool, that is wrong. If she tries to blame Caylee’s murder on another person that she names (like she has done in the past–remember Jesse?)it’s wrong. If she tries to spin the bitter truth into sugar it is wrong.

I agree with you Mystery – everything she says and does is not only wrong it”s not even a “mystery.” Seems that the Caylee Anthony case wouldn’t fit the criteria of a 48 Hour Mystery. There’s nothing mysterious about it – Casey murdered her child and threw her away – end of story.

IT VERY AMAZING THAT THEY ARE ALLOWING Cindy Anthony to keep making money off her grandaughters death..And also, for her to make up lies for people to believe somebody else killed her grandaughter…I heard they are paying the Anthonys in the neighborhood of $10,000..I really think the people should get together to get this filthy liar and con artist not allowed to go on the show..Oprah cancelled, why not 48 hours..All she is doing is spreading lies throughout the nation to make reasonable dought and taint the jury pool, and of course to make money and eat at the Ritz Carton hotel, and also, to get her lying murdering daughter out of jail..

Cindy should be afraid that if Casey were set free she’d be back home with them. They would have to sleep with one eye open.

We don’t know what she’s gonna say. The clip doesn’t reveal much other than Cindy is crying. Well, I take that back, we probably do know what she’s going to say. If she’s on 48 hours it looks like she will perpetuate the “mystery” theory.

Chuck–It’s all about the ratings. Looks like she will be on the season premiere? They’re counting on this very high profile case to be a big draw. Worth $10,000 to a network I would imagine………

How many times can one person put their feet into their mouth? The more she speaks any place the deeper she digs a hole that she will never get out of.

Looking down the road, who would want to be around these freaks, would it even be safe to be their friends. Everyone knows what she is, (a grown up Casey) and who wants that. I don’t see in my crystal ball a good future for anyone in that family if they all continue on the path they are headed down.

Had they all been truthful from the start, we would show compassion and the money for talking on the media would never be in question, what fools they are.

    Good morning, John!

Yes, I think your crystal ball is accurate, and IMO, all brought on by their own actions. You are right–If they had been more truthful and less deceiving from the beginning no one would raise an eyebrow when they went on these shows.

mystery , you and ID’claire hit it right on the head. i can’t BELIEVE they are allowing this lying, vengeful, despicible, “human being” to tell HER side of the story. those few moments of the clip almost made me lose my breakfast! Yet, the trial for amy and zfg CANNOT proceed because it may taint the jury?>????????? OMG let’s boycott! gm to all

Hi Midget! I added links to this post if you want to contact “48 Hours”. I hope the judge sees this so he can have his eyes opened to what’s going on here.

on the clip, sin-dy says “she’s taken”, yet on interviews after precious caylee was MURDERED, this despicible thang said” I wasn’t worried about caylee(during the 30 days), because i knew she was with casey” MAKE UP YOUR LYING MIND, sociopath! ‘ nuff said. this has gone beyond the realm of reality!

Oh, I dunno, midget–She’s taken fits in much better with the “snatched” theory than the “I knew she was ok for 31 days cuz she was with her mommy, St. Casey.” So, just like that, Cindy changed her wording. Remember, Cindy thinks the world is too stupid to realize when she changes her story. We are all supposed to have collective amnesia!

  14. Id'claire permalink
    September 17, 2009 9:38 am

Yes, Mystery, it would be wrong to further lies and blame others, but I don’t view her sharing her feelings of shock and pain when she found out Caylee was missing as making money off of Caylee’s death. She experienced a horrendous situation, and with that we all agree. We only saw a clip of 48 hours, and it seems that’s what she was sharing. We can sympathize with her on some level.

Id’claire-Just wait. The clip may be saying that, but Cindy has an ulterior motive. See Midget’s post above. Cindy changed her story from “I knew she was ok for 31 days with Casey” to “OMG someone stole her.” Subtle–but a play into the defense’s current theory. Cindy’s a smart cookie. She knows how to work it.

And as for “sharing” I don’t exactly call it sharing when you are getting paid a sum somewhere in the vicinity of $10,000 to talk. That’s called “buying”. 48 hours bought this interview.

Of course you are entitled to believe Cindy is innocent in all this, just I’m entitled to believe she’s not. Just a difference of opinion, my friend! LOL!

I think this interview is really a masked pilot episode for the George & Cindy Variety Hour. Each episode will feature a number of song and dance acts performed by various members of the cast, including belly dancing by Jose, magic tricks by Lyons, Dominic Casey singing for his supper, Brad Conway reading GnC’s minds and speaking for them, and Lee parking cars. Regular weekly features will include Cooking with the G-man, Cleaning Tips with Cindy, Duct Tape Ditherings, and Better Living through Chloroform.

LOLOLOL Spacely! It’ll give America’s Got Talent a real run for their money!!!

Hi all, not to be harsh, but does anyone really care what her feelings are? Can all of us not imagine what it feels like to have your daughter murder your grandchild? The only thing I want to know is; What does she think she could have done differently? How does she side step the obvious feelings I would have, Did I contribute to this in any way? Is there anything I could have seen sooner to avoid this horrible crime? Forget it. Its going to be all about me, me ,me. Every sentence will begin with I. The apple doesnt fall far from the tree, and the truth is this should NOT be allowed to air until the trial is over. Agagorder nee4ds to be in effect.

Exactly Azrenee—Most people would have tortured themselves with those questions—and maybe Cindy does, too, in private. IDK, but I seriously doubt it. She has two things on her agenda. 1) Save Casey (Which I can’t really blame her for that one, I guess. She is still her only daughter and 2) Make money.

Cindy does have the Right to appear on TV anytime she wishes and some Station is willing to put her on.
I also have the Right to watch her or not to watch her.
I decided not to watch her.
Whatever she has to say I have heard before and I am not interested anymore.
If she wants to make Money of this Tragedy like so many others in this Case that also is her Right to do so. It doesn’t mean I have to be part of it by watching those
    Programs Cindy appears on. JMO

You are so right, Hilde. Turning off the television when she’s on it will eventually cause the shows that are willing to hire her to boost their ratings, stop. Unfortunately, there will be a lot of people that won’t turn the television off out of curiosity.

I know this is crazy coming from one of the co-founders of the Anthony Awareness Club, but I say let her get on air and spew the B.S, with both feet in her mouth. Anything she says on camera is ammo for the prosecution come depo/trial time. Despite her beliefs, she AINT untouchable, and certainly not invincible. Let her lie and lie some more, since we all know she’s capable of nothing else. She’s her own worst enemy, and she always does more harm than good when she tries to help Casey. She’s diggin her own grave. Dig away, cindy! Dig away!

Spacely, does the variety hour include Perfect 10 Beauty Tips, from both Casey and Cindy? Step by step instructions on how to use a hair straightener? Those things are so tricky for the “cute but not 10’s” to figure out…. Will there be an intermittent “Where in the world is Zenaida now” skit, that tracks her getting into zany shananigans all around the globe, and then -POOF- disappearing…?

You’re right, Ostella–Brad Conway can’t seem to keep her quiet for long, and I’m still not so sure LE won’t file charges against her and George. The more her lies are on tape the more “freudian slips” we will see. She’ll be her own undoing–and Casey’s too!

  19. September 17, 2009 12:34 pm

excuse me but if she experienced shock and pain why wasn’t she out there 24/7 looking EVERYWHERE for Caylee, any normal human being would have been. she expected everyone else out looking but chose not to. they would do anything to make money and to use Caylee is horrendous. Cindy has done plenty of sharing HER feelings how about a show sharing Caylee’s feeling as she was being murdered by her own mother. i am so sick and tired of their antics. !!!!! no sympathy here

    I’m with ya grandma.

    news from cbs

The newsmagazine issued a statement: “In keeping with longstanding policy and practice, CBS News did not pay for any interviews relating to the Anthony story. Licensing footage is a standard industry practice done by television news programs to produce a visually complete story.”

A Web site promo for the program shows Cindy Anthony, Casey’s mom, talking in an interview. An announcer says, “The case that riveted the country. Her granddaughter dead. Her own daughter accused. Now Casey Anthony’s parents are fighting to save her life.” Casey Anthony is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

A CBS News spokeswoman said the program isn’t finished, that the snippet of Cindy Anthony is a small part of the program and that “48 Hours Mystery” gives both sides of a story.

“Licensing footage” means they are paying her, no matter how you slice it and dice it. She’s getting money.

Interesting, how they say they’re giving both sides of the story. Who’s representing Caylee’s side???

grandma+4, We’ll have to see what all Cindy says. I believe she had initial shock, agony, pain. When C & G got the car, the smell of death outlined a picture that Casey herself colored in later through her lies.

The Anthonys cleaned pants, knife, and car with apprehension, a gnawing knowing. From there on, the agony increased with finding Casey, but not any truth or answers.

To Cindy, Caylee was missing, but only a dead Caylee was missing. From there, their agony and shock of Caylee’s death combined with agony and shock over Casey’s act and so the inconsistencies and cover up.

I think there’s plenty room for sympathy and disgust. This mix is one element that makes this case intriguing.

    Hilde, 🙂

    Those pesky principles….

Mystery, I didn’t mean to imply that Cindy was innocent in all things. I guess I’m willing to give her a chance….for what? I dunno. Also, I don’t care if she makes money off of her interviews. If she gets rich, I don’t see it as getting rich off of Caylee. I see it getting rich off of her involvement and her own suffering. It may (or may not) help her move on.

I’m trying to separate the interviews with Cindy from Caylee herself, just as I separate my sympathy for Cindy from my disgust with many of Cindy’s actions.

I’ve got a pile of stones ready for 48 Hours, so if Cindy is pulling a fast one, I can unload my ammunition. But I’m hoping for something better.

I know you didn’t, Id’claire! You’re just trying to be fair and look at it from different angles. You’re a better person than me if you can do that cuz’ I can’t. I really wish I could look at it more objectively as you are able to do.

I used to feel terribly sorry for the Anthonys–As a mother and grandmother, I still do on some level–No matter what they say or how they behave, at the end of the day they have to lay down in the darkness and hear that baby’s voice. They also hear Casey’s voice. It all must be agonizing and maddening.

But, memories or no, love or not, Caylee was the innocent that couldn’t fend for herself. Caylee was not protected. Casey got to grow up loved and cherished. Caylee didn’t get to grow up at all. She deserves their loyalty now, and even though it’s too late for their protection, she deserves to have the real truth come to light.

Id’claire, it’s a good thing to have Compassion for People even for the Anthony’s.
    Hate is a unhealthy Emotion.
I do feel for what the Anthony’s are going through having lost their only Granddaughter in such a horrible Way.
I do however not condone all the Lies and Condradictions coming out of the
    Anthony’s own Mouth.
I believe the Reason so many People are frustrated with the Anthony’s is their own Doing. It would serve them much better to not say so much about this Case and just
let the Legal System work. It seems to me the more they are trying to help Casey
the worse they make everything for them selfs and I don’t think their Actions are helping their Daughter in the Long Run. JMO

    Hiya my l♥velies.

C&G were broke before KC {allegedly} murdered Caylee.

I’ll stick my neck out and state that they won’t pay one cent towards KC’s defense.

They wouldn’t want to be broke again after KC is convicted…nahhh!
