And the hits keep coming…..Zenaida Gonzales civil case hearing scheduled for January 10, 2010

September 22, 2009

Zenaida Gonzales depositionLooks like the civil case may NOT be postponed til after Casey Anthony’s murder trial.  Today, the judge put the hearing on the docket for January 10, 2010.  The judge will also decide in January if PI Dominic Casey will have to go through depositions with ZG’s attorneys and also if he will face fines from the claim that he lied under oath.

Looks like the defense will be working wayyyyy harder than they’d planned between now and the murder trial.  First Annie’s trial and then Zenaida’s.  And to think that, according to them, they are all working “pro bono”.

I hear Bozo is going to have the Lyon do that number for the trial. Ostella?

Why yes!! She and Bozo have been getting in shape with Flirty Girl Fitness. The Lyon will look like Tina in no time…

Bozo will naturally play Ike. The Kidfinders band will provide the live music in the background (although they might need to find a horn player to make it a truly authentic performance). Cindy and Casey will be The Lyon’s backup dancers. DVDs of the live performance will be sold outside the courthouse. All proceeds go to the CMA Foundation.

Hi ya Mystery. It is just a hearing not a court date. From the Orange county clerk:

9/21/2009 Notice of Hearing Notice of Hearing FERNANDEZ-GONZALEZ ZENAIDA

In the event that number fails to sway Judge Strickland, the Lyon will perform “Private Dancer.” He’ll be putty in her hands….

If this just a hearing… in a string of hearings and more depositions…could the civil case go to trial after the murder case?

Niecey, the kinda scary thing is, I can actually picture Lyons with her hair all wild like Tina’s and big high leather boots with a mini-skirt dancing wildly to Proud Mary. And that’s just not healthy for any mind. I blame Ostella! She planted the seed with Baez in his onsies performing haiku, harming our brains to the point that we can now tolerate the Lyons, gyrating on-stage, as Ostella described. I’m going to cleanse my eyes with eye drops to rid them of the bad, bad images burnt there behind my eyelids. (It’s OK ~ I forgive you Ostella. Your hilarity more than makes it worthwhile to harbour some dark images once in a while.)

    Great link, Mikka!

I especially like the last line of the article: “WESH 2 News tried to obtain more specific information from Cindy Anthony’s attorney, Brad Conway, but he did not return phone calls or text messages.”

Brad always has time for a comment when it suits his purposes, but when it comes to questions about money being generated by the case, suddenly he is silent…

Is this the same way Brad and Jose are getting paid?!? They are pro-bono in the sense they are not paid for their services as lawyers, but are the Ants paying them ‘licensing fees’ for use of their names as attorneys or some other legal trickery used to disguise a paycheck?!? Is this why these two are always silent about how they can afford to continue representing these clients?!? They don’t want anyone looking too close and discovering their pro bono-ness is really pro bonus-ness?!?

That’s an interesting theory, Spacely! I keep thinking, if Kronk got $20,000 for a photo of a dead snake–what is a photo of a murdered grandchild worth? I would think it would be considerably more.

The reality of this situation is that the licensing fees are chump change. Sure, they bring in some money and pay the bills and are nice for shopping sprees, but the real money is in the donations. Here’s why:

Licensing fees are paid on a contract – so there is either one payment or a series of payments, possibly renewals (I am thinking specifically of HLN, who constantly shows a few a specific pics and video – unless those shots were donated way back at the beginning) – but as big as the dollars are, there is a specific finite amount.

Donations have no upper limit. They just keep rolling in. You can push them through a series of different accounts, avoiding taxes. You can hold them in various bank accounts, again avoiding taxes. You can split them up and clandestinely pay people.

My guesstimate is that total licensing fees (both KC’s and Cindy’s) are pushing past $1 mill at this point, possibly much more depending on story options that might have been sold (like to Lifetime).

My guesstimate on total donations is probably in excess of $3 mill.

I could bore you to death with how I arrived at these numbers, but if you do some quick math on your own and assume a bare minumum of $10,000 in donations a month, you hit almost half of my estimate. I think $10k a month is extremely conservative. Donations may have dropped off now, but in the beginning, they must have been massive based on the amount of media coverage and the fact KidFinders was paying its employees to stand outside grocery stores to collect money. How much of this money made it directly to the Ants? That is a whole different question, but you can see why the money grubbers like Milstead stick so close to them.

This just in: the Turd Herd has devised a Plan C, JUST IN CASE even the Private Dancer solo fails to mesmerize Judge Strickland (but let’s face it, do they REALLY need it?).

Just picture it: Court lights out, quick scene/costume change, and when the lights come up, the courtroom has transformed into “Mad Maxx Beyond Thunderdome,” the post-Apocalyptic cinematic world in which Tina made her acting debut. The Lyon will perform “We Don’t Need Another Hero,” the hit single from the soundtrack. She’ll dedicate the song to Judge Strickland, crooning that last line while staring right into his soul,

“All we want is life beyonnnnnnd the Thunderdome…”

Its foolproof. Or it better be. If Bozo is playing Ike Turner, the Lyon better watch out if they lose…

    Oh, Ostella,

Can’t we skip the song and go straight to strapping Bozo to the front of a semi and barrelling on down the freeway in a high speed post apocalyptic chase?

Or is he too busy shoveling pig manure in the electricity factory below the city?!?

    Master Blaster Forever!!!

Master blaster forever?! That’s what he and the Lyon scream to each other as they’re doing the Flirty Girl Fitness DVD, to inspire eacother to feel the burn, don’t give up, no pain no gain, and the like…

Especially during the “chair dance,” when the Lyon’s legs feel like they’re about to give out…

    Master Blaster Forever!!!!

Spacely, I really don’t want to believe they could make that much of a fortune but sadly, you are probably right. And, as you say, probably your numbers are conservative!!!

Ostella, your theatrical vision is inspirational. Once this messy trial is out of the way I expect Bozo will try to sign you as his agent so you could mold his fresh, raw talent, and at the same time force him to deal with the frustrating sexual issues bubbling beneath the surface between himself and the Lyon. Their passion will light the stage (and empty the theatre ~ heh heh heh . . .)
