Is this what really happened to Haleigh Cummings?

Nay Nay's letter to a friend

Nay Nay's letter to a friend

————————————–Letter from Nay Nay———————————————————————–

Send me some money                                                          9/18/09

Hey Donnie

I got interrogated by the detectives again about the Haleigh case.  U are not going to belive what they told me.  They said that your friend Joe Pytkco (or Psycho) went to the detectives and wrote a sworn affidavid that I was with Misty White Boy Greg and Haleigh and Junior the night of Haleighs disappearance when you know I was at your house. Well anyways he said that we were all over at a party at Chad’s house and Haleigh got a hold of some Oxycotton and died. We supposedly freaked out and Greg put her in a black bag in my car and we took her to a pond by the Mondex. The detectives got my car from the junkyard yesterday to do some CSI & shit.  When you see your friend you need to ask him why the fuck would he make up some bullshit like that and put me in the middle of a homicide investigation! I’m going to slap that motherfucker in the face if I ever see him. You know I was with you that night! Well just had to let you know whats going on.

Always, Nay Nay

According to Sky News she wrote “Joe Psycho”  I don’t think that’s what it looks like.  I think it looks like Joe Pytko.  How about you?close up of Joe Pytico name

Could this be the Joe Pytko she’s referring to?

Joe Pytko

Is this letter for real?  According to Art Harris it is.

He says William Staubs (Cobra) said he got the jailhouse letter from someone close to Nay Nay who gave it to LE.  Harris said this person verified the letter as authentic and got it from the person Nay Nay was writing.

Harris said an LE source told him that they had confronted Nay Nay with a statement from someone  named “Joe”.  Nay Nay denied the accusations.

According to Sky News the go-between was White Boy Greg Page’s  mother.  Donnie showed the letter to her and then read it over the phone to Cobra. Cobra asked him to fax it to him, but he refused. Donnie left the letter with Greg Page’s mother and told her to do what she wanted with it.Page’s mother then faxed the letter to Cobra.

Sky News then showed the letter to Major Bowling with the PCSO, and he responded, saying,

“We don’t think the letter is worth reacting to.”

read it here:

Does this letter and “Joe”  have something to do with why LE searched a pond in the Mondex this past weekend?  Nay Nay almost seems to be “telling” this Donnie person that she WAS with him.  (He is Donnie Spells,  her ex-boyfriend and the father of her child)

The scenario described in the letter is, sadly, quite plausable…..

I love the secret code at the beginning: SEND ME SOME MONEY

    and it’s circled.

That’s how you know the rest of the message is disposable. She seems to have known that if he read any of it, he would only read the short circled important part.

This letter really bothers me Spacely. I could see it happening just like that…..

According to Blink, the one they call “White Boy Greg” has taken and passed several- yes, several- polygraphs administered by the FBI. He has a rock solid alibi, and has been cleared of any involvement in Haleigh’s case. While he’s certainly a drug dealer and all around ruffian, LE does not think he is involved in Haleigh’s disappearance. In light of all that, it looks like the one they call “NayNay” is trying to throw the one called “White Boy Greg” under the bus. So I’m immediately suspicious of her. That note could be a slightly altered version of the truth, meant to toss somebody else in front of the oncoming train. JMO

    Also, regarding the note:

Stay in school, kids. School’s cool…

I hope that didn’t happen to her, too. In a perfect world, I hope she is with straight sane people, living in a clean house with her own room and a real bed……but, that’s not likely.

Ostella–Yes, she could be trying to throw White Boy Greg under the bus. I still found it odd that she “told” Donnie she was with him that night—-“remember, Donnie?” Wonder if there was a kernel of truth in what she wrote—she just “added” White Boy Greg to throw the heat off herself and Misty.

You’ve hit the most important point, Mystery, the establishment of an alibi by Nay-nay. She may even be trying to do her bf a favor by establishing an alibi for him at the same time. We were together… got it?!? Although, it could also be a warning… they are onto us, get rid of any evidence, say you were with me, let’s pin it back on Joe.

From the info on Joe P, looks like whatever info he gave he traded during his last lock-up at the end of July, so that info is suspect at best, but perhaps accurately describes rumors running through the area’s locals.

The scenario does sound plausible. I wish they would release Misty’s cell phone ping record so we would know where she was at that night. I can’t see her actually turning her phone off because teenage girls love their phones and want to know when their crazy bfs are calling, even if they refuse to answer.

She may have turned it off though, because of Casey Anthony’s pings to her cell phone. It was highly publicized. Did any of you see what Eddie Blue said yesterday? That scared me, as that could have happened too. I didn’t know how to respond. He commented 2 slightly different comments on the last 2 Haleigh posts, and they were hair raising to me. I think there is a couple of possible scenarios here, and in each one that surfaces there is some truth. I still feel that this is going to blow apart soon and the truth will come out.

I did read the Eddie stuff and I have also theorized for a long time that Ron possibly killed Haleigh prior to going to work and then directed operations to dispose of her body.

But now that the new info about the multiple phone calls to Misty and the call to Misty’s bro by Ron, I think that theory is shot.

Assuming that Ron was attempting to direct the disposal of a body, I don’t think he would have called Tommy no matter how badly he wanted to find Misty. No reason to pull in outside players – unless Tommy was an inside player seeing as there were a bunch of people over at the trailer before Ron went to work.

That makes sense too. If you put it all together, (Nay Nay’s letter, Tommy’s statement, Eddie’s theory, etc……) then it could even be possible that Ron “over disciplined”, Misty gave her something to sleep and it was catastrophic, then the scurry began. House full of people, thus all the different stories. I don’t know, I just think that we are beginning to get some truth, a little here and a little there.

Forgot to mention the illegal activities, thus the cover up. Just a theory.

I’ve been thinkin’ about all this. (I know, shock-er-ooo) I think the more info that is surfacing, the less likely Ron was directly involved. A 17 year old girl would not cover for Ron all this time if he did it. The police would offer her protection if she was afraid of Ron in exchange for her help. Plus, she might be scared of her husband, (which I doubt that, too–remember she spent at least 1 weekend we know of sexin’ it up with White Boy Greg–in Redneck Country, that right there is grounds for murder, and in some states is still legal)BUT she would be more scared of being tried for murder. She would cave, UNLESS what she was covering up would not only incriminate her, but by default, would cost her the “best thing that ever happened to her” (according to her) —-Ronald.

Also, didn’t Ron take a few polys, and pass them? I don’t think he’s squeaky clean in all this, for sure, but I don’t think he was directly involved in whatever happened to Haleigh. Now, the coverup is a different story. Misty has something big on him. Big enough for him to marry her and continue to publicly defend her, even to the point that he looks like an ignorant jacka$$ to the rest of us. What has she got on him?

  14. itsamysterytome permalink*

As far as we know, he took them and passed, Ostella. LE has said, publicly at least, that he is not a suspect. I’m with you. There’s some reason this guy forced himself to marry Misty (he was no happy camper when he did it) and some reason he has decided to lie for her.

No that’s not a shocker. I think you have a lot of insight. I’m not saying Ron killed her. What I’m wondering is this: Is it possible that Haleigh got a whipping before he left, and maybe she hit her head? Either horsing around, or from running from daddy, or something along those lines. Ron leaves. Haleigh has a little goose egg, and a headache. Misty has the party under way or at least some small social gathering, and they are up to no good. She gives Haleigh something to make her sleep, and feel better. Not a wise thing to do, but Misty is a kid. Haleigh dies in her sleep, and Misty and her friends panic. Ron has guilt, thus his allegiance to Misty. Guilt for spanking her or not taking her to the doctor, and maybe he doesn’t know that Misty gave her something and she’s gone, but maybe he does. The drugs and thus the cover up. It would explain why he married her and seems to believe her. In a scenario like that Misty would not be covering for Ron anymore than herself. It’s just a theory. I don’t think (and I could be wrong) that anyone intentionally hurt her.

    That’s a plausible scenario, Niecey… Hmmmmmm….

    Yes, that’s a plausible scenario.

The problem is there are so many plausible scenarios at this point. But, then, when you break them down, they all have holes in them. One or more of the players won’t fit into the theory.

Well, we are in for a new piece of the puzzle once Misty’s Mom get’s arrested. Seems each one has something new to add. With each one, I think we get a little closer to the truth. Change the Me to You in the song Lean On Me, and I think LE is getting closer to the truth. 🙂
I would love for this to have a fairy tale ending, but the main thing that’s coming from all the sources, the one underlying message to me, is that Haleigh is gone, as in no longer with us.

Question: who the heck paid Hank Jrs $50K bail??????

They sure are making a big deal about that letter NOT being a big deal…..

  22. itsamysterytome permalink*
    September 24, 2009 6:50 pm

Ostella, I think I read that the bail was reduced to around $5000.00. I think you only pay 10% or something like that which meant he only had to come up with $500.00. I’ll see if I can find where I read that. It may have been on JVM or NG

The REAL question is why would they reduce it? Did they get everything they wanted out of him?

  23. itsamysterytome permalink*
    September 24, 2009 6:53 pm

Well, now I’m reading that was just a rumor and it wasn’t reduced. So who knows.
Even at $50,000, whoever posted bond only had to come up with $5000.

niecey–You know, that letter has been posted all over the internet with the names showing, not blacked out like they were on NG. Everyone and their dog had already seen the letter before she ever mentioned. So why is LE trying to act like she revealed some huge secret–oh, and an unimportant one at that.

Me thinks something is really up! It’s obvious LE is leaning on the cast of characters. Pressure is mounting, but LE is not always telling us the truth either. They are trying to keep everyone unawares. Remember the car at the pond search that was reported as being hauled away on a flat bed??? First it was false, and after repeated denial, then it was a resident in the area having their car towed. The whole pond search, was lie after lie, and then when the rumors got too great they told the public enough to pacify. I think there is much we don’t know, but they are kind of mad about that letter, seems to have hit a nerve.

Mystery, thanx for the (possible) explanation of the bail $$$ 🙂

I think somethings really up too. I think Nieceys right on about all the little pieces of the puzzle coming out in all their stories; I think this case is gonna be solved soon.

There are so many rumors flying around it makes your head spin. You don’t know what’s the truth and what isn’t at this point. Much of the chaos has been caused by the Sheriff’s dept’s lies IMO.

I think so too, Ostella. The police were soooo quiet for so long and now it’s bam! bam! bam! Someone said (can’t remember who) a neighbor near the pond that was drained maybe, that the police know what happened–they just need the proof.
