Diamonds and tattoos? Are George and Cindy Anthony living la “Bella Vita”?

November 3, 2009

Leave it to the Globe–their money talks.  Two more pictures taken by a passenger on George and Cindy’s cruise surfaced in the November 9 issue. (You remember the cruise—it was right after Casey’s bid for freedom was denied.)  One of them plainly shows the Anthony’s lovely tattoos.  Cindy’s displays the name “Caylee Marie” entwined with a butterfly`and is located on her tummy.  George’s is on his chest and has the inscription, “My Sunshine”.  It has a girl with sunbeams streaming down on her.  Both are good sized tattoos. (that spells a lotta dinero) and George’s fits in nicely with his good-sized diamond stud earrings.

Here’s the Globe photo–

George and Cindy's tats

and here’s a photo showing  one of George’s new earrings.

George' diamond stud

I swear these people boggle my mind.  They’ve gone from living on the verge of bankruptcy–heck, I think they DID declare bankruptcy a few years back, they’re unemployed, and it wasn’t that long ago they were both talking suicide.   Now, they can afford tattoos like that? In case you didn’t know, tats are NOT cheap.  I’m not even gonna speculate on how much George’s diamonds cost.  (He’ll probably tell us they are fake).

Alls I can say is that it appears they’ve certainly wasted no time spending the blood money they made on Caylee’s 48 hour special. Nauseating!!  The only consolation in all this would be if someone sent this article to Miss Casey in her jail cell.

You’re right, Mystery! I’m sure the booze cruise news will get to their little prison perp, and yes, she’ll just hate it won’t she? About those tattoos, I’m inclined to think that even the out-of-touch-with-reality Anthonys would know how offensive the tattoos would be to the public and I’m thinking that the tats were a collaboration between the Globe and Adobe Photoshop. As for the diamond ear bling ~ well . . . that would be right in line with their air of entitlement and their low-classy behaviour but again, it’s just too good to be true. I would frigging LOVE it if they were real diamonds and real tats but I just can’t buy it. I think the Globe is just plumping up their story with those juicy tidbits. I REALLY hope I’m wrong. Hee! I know, I know. I’m going to ____!

Mystery ~ These people are so disgusting, it’s so obvious WHY there murderer daughter Casey is and what became from her! They will all pay the price sooner or later!!!! It’s obvious that they go on vacation on purpose and knowing there will be people taking pictures of them…..seems to me that this is done on purpose to rub it on there daughters face…..She (Casey) has given them the opportunity to make BLOOD MONEY and to live the “RICH AND FAMOUS” life…They sure have bad taste in tattoos….lol Georgie boy wants to look cool with his blings…..how sad!!! I have also read that what looks like a stud in Georgette’s ear is actually something to help with motion sickness. You know, like a little patch or something. If it’s BLING we’ll find out soon enough. I don’t think even the A.s are quite that stupid.

Another motion asks the judge to throw out 9 of the check fraud-related charges against Anthony. She’s accused of using checks taken from her then-friend Amy Huizenga. But her defense says prosecutors filed 3 counts for each check she allegedly wrote, and thus is facing double jeopardy.

Kim–I’m thinkin’ it’s not photoshopped because the two pictures are from different publications.

I guess I can see someone in Casey Anthony and Ron Cummings generation commemorating certain events with tattoos. (no, not the death of your child, though!) George and Cindy are from a different age group and tattoos are not usually how that generation would memorialize something, I don’t think.

The thought that these two sat down and discussed getting a tattoo with Caylee on it, and then actually went out and did it, is just weird to me. It’s not normal—is it????

Well, if those are real tattoos and real diamonds it’s official ~ the Anthonys have finally taken complete loss of their senses. COMPLETE LOSS!!! Are they TRYING to make us hate them? And I’m not even a hater ~ as Ostella has pointed out, I am proud to be Anthony Aware but I do not hate them.

But, they could have been done in Photoshop if a designer did it. They would have to know how to skew and fade and distort a little but it certainly could be done. Just not by someone who wasn’t very skilled at manipulating photos. I don’t know. I just don’t know. Now I’m worried and I want to know.

I have another thought. Given that the tattoos look so faded I wonder if they aren’t temporary tattoos (like the kind children get). They are water-based so that’s why the colours are not as bright as they would be if they were real tats. They are meant to last only a few days. I bet that’s what it is.

Bees–You are right, a skilled photoshop person could have faked those tattoos. If that is the case it would have had to be done by the person that took them in the first place since they were published separately.

And, lol, I suppose they could be temporary ones, but Cindy’s says Caylee Marie–they would have to be custom made. I think you are being too generous with the benefit of the doubt and giving them way too much credit for having common sense! lolol I hope you are right, though. It is so obvious, at least to me, that the Anthonys want to stay in the media whatever it takes. Be it television, mags, books etc…they certainly don’t want to fade away, if they do, there goes the money!

Caylee is not a concern to them any longer, and at this point, they just want to make as much money as possible off of Casey. They probably will. They will start pedding photos of her “going off to prison” and death row…what ever it takes to make more money.

I think they hold the World’s Record for lying, and I’m still amazed that they haven’t been jailed for it!

Strapless was not the best choice for Cindy when selecting that bikini top. I would also say the zebra print miniskirt shouldve stayed on the rack at Forever 21. I don’t know too many women in their 50’s who would opt for a two-piece, except maybe Madonna or Sharon Stone, and they both work out about 6 hrs a day in order to pull it off. No woman who claims to be “so tired of all the media attention” would flop and wiggle around in a teenager’s ridiculous outfit on a luxury cruiseliner with cameras and gawkers aplenty. Its classic Anthony. Fondle the trigger and blame the gun….

But . . . you’d expect to see the tattoos this faded after a few years, not just a few months, no? I just can’t accept that they would be THAT ridiculous!!! Although we are talking about the Anthonys here, so . . . who knows, but if Cindy deliberately tattooed her flabby, post-menopausal belly with a tattoo of that great girth, she is definitely in some weird, twisted form of denial. Who the heck does she fantasize is looking at her belly with anything other than revulsion? The entire family is rife with CEV and all three of the Anthonys are dealing with karma-body.

    Hi Hadley

I tend to agree with you. That may not be their true intent, but it sure is how they are allowing themselves to come across in the media. I just keep telling myself that their gravy train won’t last forever. The trial really will eventually happen and Casey will either go away forever or walk free–If she walks free, she’ll make the big bucks for her “If” I Really Did It”, book (like OJ’s book) and if she doesn’t, justice will have been served, interest will fade, and the Ants and their so-called foundation will fade away too. They’ll be right back where they started because they blew all their blood money.

I don’t know a lot of 40 somethings that would wear that outfit either. Definitely attention getting–and not in a good way. She had to have known she would be photographed. And I can’t believe they would get tattoos when Casey’s tattoo has been such a talking point all these months. Bees, I was thinking that they could look somewhat faded due to heavy sun exposure (especially if they sunbathe before its healed properly), or if their skin was sun damaged/unhealthy to begin with. Sometimes new tattoo ink doesn’t look quite as fresh and vibrant on aging, damaged skin that’s losing elasticity. It could also be the quality of the photos, though. Its hard to say….

Have you read your copy of the book yet? If so, Is it any good and do you think it is worth buying? Also when I said someone else killed Caylee I never said who because I have no idea. Actually I do know… It was Zenaida didn’t ya know? lol just kidding. If I did know, I would have told the FBI. It is just my personal opinion that someone else did it. I am a mom and I can’t conceive of a mom killing her baby. I see so many happy pictures of her and Caylee. It just doesn’t seem feasible that she would actually be the one who physically did it. The truth will come out though. It always does. I think this has been a snow ball effect with her. Just one lie after another. Also, did any of you read the “explicit” text message transcripts between her and Rusciano? Anyways, I felt like they were talking in code a lot. Did anyone else think that? Mystery, the stud earring, I am sure cut glass, new tattoos, a cruise and disability on the state, and lying up a storm!! My gosh! All while Casey’s d-team sits and writes motion after motion, telling the world that Casey can’t dream up anymore excuses, not to mention Casey is not hateful, wicked or cruel (I disagree)! And to drop 9 of the 13 fraud charges, she is charged with. It is getting rather old. I must say they do LOVE the limelight, too bad it is all on Caylee! There needs to be Justice for poor Caylee already, and they need to sit on the back burner and get off their butts and work.

Thanks for that link. I guess I’m not the only one that wrote to the Sydney Theatre Co. I had read somewhere else that Cate Blanchard was in the play but couldn’t verify it at the time so didn’t say anything. Cate Blanchard is associated with this theatre anyway–it’s no surprise that she would be in one of their plays.

I’m sure none of these people realized the extent of the real controversy surrounding this little girl. Or maybe they did and that’s why they chose to unveil it in Australia. But, I doubt they realized how far-reaching the arms of the protectors of Caylee were. Good for everyone that voiced their disdain at this tasteless, inappropriate play.

Perhaps, then, you will not be so “haha” glib. This is a horrendous, brutal, terrifying “slaughter” of a beautiful, helpless little TWO YEAR OLD! I might remind you…her “Mother” didn’t even report her missing until 31 days had passed, while she partied every night. hmmmmmm Yeah, right, Zanny did it! NOT! Why did u come here?

How long before George and Cindy go on Jerry Springer because they seem to be trailer trash who are in this for the money. The tattoo’s as others have said are not cheap and she is too old to be getting a tattoo on her arm let alone her gut.

Jerry Springer is always having a show on trailer trash so wonder how much he would pay them to be on his show. Sad that they have to make money at the expense of their beautiful granddaughter. How does that STUPID dumptruck of a lawyer of George and Cindys daughter feel he has the right to ask the charges to be dismissed. Has anyone forgot a beautiful little girl is dead so the mother could have a party life and the grandparents could get rich, become TV stars and enjoy the riches brought by the death of an angel??

I have not read it yet, but will let you know what I think of it asap. Planning on getting it read in the next few days.

I understand how you feel and why you don’t want to believe Casey could hurt Caylee. Most of us are parents or grandparents on here and also can’t imagine someone hurting their own child. Early on I grappled with that, but after all the discovery that has been released, and the lies of George, Cindy, and Lee, I believe Casey killed her daughter. At first I thought maybe it was an accident, but I don’t believe that anymore. I think she killed her and that she meant to kill her. That’s JMO. I also believe that Cindy and George know Casey killed Caylee and that they began covering up for her almost from day 1. You are right–the truth will come out in the end, whatever it is.

As far as the texts between Casey and Rusciano, I don’t necessarily think it was code. I think it shows Casey’s growing disgust with her life and how she perceived Caylee to be a yoke around her neck.

I’ve often wondered why the Anthonys didn’t have a sweet memorial to little Caylee. Even a small bench in a park, surrounded by flowers, and a small angel statue. Little Caylee was so loved by so many, I think it would be a fine thing to do. Just a sweet remembrance for this precious baby.

If the prosecution would just cooperate and be a bit more specific then they, (the defense) with a little time and effort, (maybe by February) could come up with a better excuse, I mean reason, why Casey couldn’t possibly have done it…… I’m looking forward to hearing what Judge Strickland says about the latest re-motion.

I usually don’t like to wish my life away, but I can hardly wait until February to hear what the defense has that will prove Casey din’ do it.

But after losing her, they both quickly chose to live lies and swim in the sea of deceitfulness. So they feel crummy, and they continue to feel crummy, because they live crummy. Often people who feel crummy try to glorify their chosen gloom with the razzle and dazzle of this world. So they get their nails done. Get a tattoo. Take a cruise.

Hi Mystery and everyone, first i must say ding bat cindy is too old for that bikini bathing suit. she needs at no less a one piece with a sarong to the ankles added. she lost her weight so fast and it really has made her body look old and saggy. Doughhead George looks just plain Silly wearing earrings at his age whether they are real or glass. Their tats real or not looks even sillier for their age and of course attention is their main goal nowsdays. Mystery, i laughed my head off at your statement. ”what next, George in a speedo”. catsmeow, now come on where have you been living? this case has been world wide and implicates no one but casey. when death row was put back on the table you can believe the state has done their home work and have their ducks in a row and will show beyond any shadow of a doubt Casey Marie Anthony killed Caylee and i believe pre-meditated it and that will be proved as well. They don’t add death row if they don’t have some serious damaging evidence.

Let me share some thoughts…all of which are my opinion only…

    1) The Ants sold the pics to the Globe because they need their tattoos {real or fake} to be seen by the public.
    REASON
    To prove that getting tattooed whilst grieving is “normal” for their family. {Bozo will be smirking when telling the jury 👿 }

    2) The Ants will spend ALL monies made from their $granddollar$ as quickly as they get it.
    REASON
    They must return to being “broke” when/if they are sued for slander OR prosecuted for subverting justice. {I hope both happen :mrgreen: }

    3) Bozo will drag both trials out as long as he can.
    REASON
So he can charge more billable hours to ????? who is paying for this.
    AND to gain noteriety 😈

    4) They have all forgotten about Caylee…I’m disgusted with the lot of them!

That’s very insightful and probably very close to the truth of it. Although, I think a person has to have the propensity for deceit to be able to do the things they’ve done and are doing. The majority of families that find themselves in similar situations (a missing or murdered child) do not head down the road the Anthonys have chosen.

Casey Anthony isn’t the first person to have been accused of murdering her child. And Cindy and George aren’t the first people to have to deal with losing their grandchild and perhaps their daughter for killing her. They have fed the media flames, and are taking advantage of their notoriety in ways that a person with strong moral fiber would not do.

And you are right on as usual. I think you are right on all counts but #2. The Anthonys are spending all their blood money because they don’t know how to handle their finances. Instead of hiring PI’s to search under rocks for a live Caylee, and buying search and rescue boats they don’t use, they should be working with a financial planner, so that when they’ve drained the well dry, there will be something put away for their golden years. At the least pay off your mortgage. They will find themselves right back in their same leaky boat if they don’t end up in jail as you suggest. That’s a real possibility.

Hi, did you all see this article? Mark Fuhrman talks about:

CINDY AND GEORGE ANTHONY IN THE MURDER BUSINESS
Mr. Fuhrman points out in his book how the media invites family members on TV shows to keep the ‘’news story’’ A lot of people have wondered and have been perturbed as to why the interviewer isn’t asking the important questions of George & Cindy Anthony. The media according to Mr. Fuhrman: “They manufacture questions, but never try to answer them… they pretend victims are alive when it is patently clear there is no chance, just to keep the story alive.” Mr. Fuhrman addresses how the media seduces these family members to get the ‘news story” , including the payment of money for ‘’fair use’’ of objects, pictures or video. Sound familiar….
Here’s an excerpt from the book that illustrates this ‘’Murder Business”:
—Cindy Anthony was clinging to the delusion that the stench in Casey’s car was not that of a corpse but perhaps a rotten pizza and the media reported the flimsy, ludicrous myth, for months and months, that Caylee may be alive, because they wanted a story. This resulted in thousands of false tips that the investigators were required to investigate, no matter how crazy. The media myth wasted time and resources of the detectives……a story that drug on for months, long after it was evident/realistic that Caylee was dead. —
Mr. Fuhrman couldn’t have picked a better title. The Anthony’s occupations are within the murder business as they profit selling pictures & fuel the media fenzy about the murder of Caylee.

Thank heavens, they didn’t wear “thongs” on the cruise! lol

The unfortunate thing to me is that the Blood Money is going to continue! You know that when a verdict is finally reached, the Media will all want interviews. Also Magazines, talk shows, and more talk shows. The A.s LOVE the attention, and love the money even more.

I did read that and I’ve ordered the book. I disagree with him in that in order for the seduction to take place both sides have to come to the party. Again, the propensity to do the things the Anthonys are doing now has to be in their make-up to begin with. Not everyone can be bought and certainly not many can be bought with blood money. People of conscience and high moral fiber can’t be lured into the trap by the media. JMO

I really miss the days when a tattoo meant military service and/or prison. NO ONE else except low grade prostitutes had them. Oh, well. The past is just a good-bye. But, back to topic, those two are just trash. Do not get wound up about all the money they are making off of their grandollar’s corpse. Bees, it varies a little with everybody, but in general, yes, the stomach is a painful spot, along with the small of the back, the spine, the ribs, and the feet. Anywhere with lots of nerve endings and/or “thin skin.”

Jill! I was thinking the same exact thing! They’re gonna say, “See, its normal for our family to get tattood while “grieving.” Idiots. I thought Caylee was still alive; why waste time and $$$ memorializing her in ink on your hideous, aging flesh? Why spend the $$$ getting inked and blinged, when they could be rescuing her from the Puerto Rican human traffickers? Morons.

You argue that you have the right to voice your own asinine, uninformed opinion, yet you don’t extend that courtesy to others who don’t share the same view. Instead you label us all hateful bashers, to distract us from your inability to back up your foolish opinions with any facts. You state as a fact that Casey is not a babykiller, yet you offer NO credible theories regarding other suspects. On top of that, you paint yourself as someone who isn’t above lining their pockets with blood money. Your blasee attitude toward the actual evidence in this case is disturbing. Back up your opinions with some facts, not personal assesments of Casey’s mothering skills that you’ve gathered by looking at some photos. Otherwise nobody will take you seriously.

Great comments here. Everything the A’s do is thought out ahead of time and contains at least one self-serving motivation. Nothing happens by accident with them. I notice they are not wearing their little vials of ashes on the cruise but
TAN lines are undesirable, I suppose. Thom is right. They will go through the
money like water and their day will come. Very few people, under the circumstances of a child’s body being found around the corner from their home, would have stepped off the plane gone straight to the Ritz for steak dinners and financial discussions after learning that Plan A had just fallen through and it was time to swing Plan B into action. Plan B was waiting in the wings because it came into action way too quickly to be spontaneous, IMO.
(And here, we must remember how the police took special precautions to break the news to them gently as they still must have believed the possibility they were dealing with grieving grandparents.)
“Ok, so she’s dead, already. Tell us something we don’t know. No reason for the money to stop.”
One comment about “Nobody says ‘no’ to money.” Maybe in your world but not in mine, for which I am grateful. It’s very easy to say ‘no’ to money if you take any time to reflect upon what is lasting, meaningful and worth having in this world. It’s a very short leap between losing a child and turning it into a profit and making that happen by plan and purpose. Though I am not saying this financial windfall was anything more than what they stumbled into and THEY can’t say ‘no.’
The A’s looked around from early on and saw how the money was flowing and objected to the exploitation of their grand daughter. Why? Because they saw others jumping onto their band wagon and they were not about to share the ride. How dare anyone exploit her other than them? They owned the rights.
All the treats they now buy for themselves (no matter how bizarre) will be justified to themselves as “what we deserve after what we went through.”
I wonder if George thanked Caylee for the diamond stud earrings or if he just doesn’t make the connection. The train track that Cindy’s mind goes down does not allow for any connections at all.

Forrest–excellent points, all. Your last sentence is the best description of Cindy I’ve seen. “The train track that Cindy’s mind goes down does not allow for any connections at all.” That is the truth.

Who ELSE had a motive to kill Caylee beside Casey?
Zanny was teaching Casey a lesson? Oh.
Caylee was getting older, talking, a little person, and could “tell” her grandparents what her “mother” was doing to and with her. Motive?
Caylee was getting much of the money that squatter Casey used to get. Motive?
She was a ball and chain around her neck, always. Motive?
Cindy plays down Casey’s stealing from other, but THREW HER OUT when she learned Casey stole money from HER MOTHER and threw her out! Motive?
Then boy du jour (Tony) said “You can move in, but don’t bring Caylee.” Motive?
Poor Caylee certainly was in the way of this party girls’ lifestyle. Motive.
Casey … had big time motive. No one else.

joni, I agree with you. There just is no one else that had any reason whatsoever to kill Caylee. George said in his deposition that Caylee wasn’t talking that well. Cindy said she was talking in sentences, paragraphs even. I assume the truth was somewhere between the two. That means it was just a matter of time before Caylee told Cindy and George what was going on. Caylee was becoming a bigger and bigger drag and drain on Casey. The actual timing of when she did it may have been impulsive on her part, though. I don’t see where she had any real plan for what to do “after” Caylee died.

catsmeow, when a stranger did this, how he know who caylee live and through her close to the anthony home, makes no sense right??? think about this!

Well, now, mikka–the defense may well say somebody trying to frame Casey could have put her body near her home–although to me it goes back to motive. What motive did anyone have to kill Caylee in the first place. No one but Casey.

Ok…. So my question is, So….. why don’t any of you have an issue with the people selling the pictures of the Anthony’s. Almost seems to me the public are the ones making the money…

jilligan. The Anthonys are adults that have sold their granddaughter down the river by appearing on national television and in magazines like People Magazine, for payment. They have INVITED the press into their lives FOR MONEY. They continue to court the press with their outrageous behavior.

I don’t think that makes it right that someone would sell pictures of them, but if the Anthonys hadn’t made such a huge spectacle of themselves from the beginning of all this, no one would be interested in buying the pictures.

You can’t tell me that there aren’t Justice for Caylee websites out there that aren’t making any profit off the braclets and pins they are selling? What justice is there? What justice is there for Caylee for people making money following the Anthony’s around trying to take pictures to sell to the media or slum papers such as the Gossip Mag’s? Does that make them any better? And these are the very same people that cry justice for Caylee…. Where is the justice?

I could give a crap about Casey, that is in the hands of God and the Jury members. I look for justice for precious Caylee, I look for peace for the family that will never be able to move on. Karma is coming… it is on it’s way.

Maybe Baez thinks the longer he can drag this out … the more we will all “calm down” about this horrible murder? Time sometimes does that… but not for us!
And too, they sure need time to try to “clean up”, and explain away all their “half truth”, “mis-statements”, and bold LIES that all of them have told.
And too – why they interfered with the evidence!!!
What a herculean job THAT IS! No wonder he is dragging his heels!
Not to mention the fees he is wracking up!

I’m sure Baez is going to try every stall tactic he and the scheme team can come up with. You are right. They need all the time they can get to cobble together a defense and figure a way to put some reasonable doubt in the mind of potential jurors. No doubt they think public interest will wane the more time that goes by as well.

I agree 1010% with all of you but catsmeow who must be blindsighted & or pro-Anthony! I doubted the tats at first but still question G’s bling. The A’s definitely lack class which is not just something you’re born with.. it’s aquired thru good taste & we all know they have zilch! We all know CMA is as guilty as did LE the day they locked her up! We also know if Bozo, G&C had any doubt it was her, they would have been out there trying to find the real killer! I’m seriously running out of names to call them just as I’m tired of seeing their faces “out there”! As for those latest motions, I have confidence in Strickland’s judgement and will be denied! It’s time to get on with the trial and give justice to Caylee, the one the A’s have totally forgotten. The A’s have no shame!
a bit of my article… the numerous lies started with this monster-mom and continued by family and numerous attorneys. And, they all have such an influence on those who appear to be intelligent, but cannot possibly be if they cannot see that the monster-mom is a cold blooded killer! She along with her family think the public is stupid and oblivious to all their lies and try to appear more intelligent, but we all know it’s an act. They are the dumbest of dumb! Summed up.. it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know this monster-mom is guilty and her family is just as dumb as she is to think they will get away with anymore of their lies. The day will come when they will meet their maker and answer to him! He knows all!

    ScRaMa–

I think we are all tired of seeing the Anthonys in the news. It would be a welcomed relief to have them quietly move to the back of the room. Unfortunately, there’s no money to be made in that position so I’m sure we will continue to be regaled with their outrageousness. You are absolutely correct. Hmmmmm. First things first, thecatsmeow01

You may express whatever view you want to here, but whatever that view is–anti-anthonys, pro-anthonys, IDGAF-about the Anthonys, Casey-did-it, Casey-is-being framed, etc. etc. etc. –just expect someone else to not only have a conflicting opinion but to also voice those opinions and to back them up with the facts as they see them. (ideally, in a polite and respectful manner)

I am obviously not an Anthony admirer although in the beginning and for a long time I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After seeing them lie time and again, and watching their ever-escalating outrageous behavior, I think my feelings are justified.

I also believe that Casey is the only person that could be responsible for her child’s death. Early on I vacillated between thinking it was an accident and that it was premeditated, but not anymore. I believe she is guilty of premeditated murder based on the evidence I’ve seen.

It’s hard for me to see how anyone following the case closely could come to a conclusion that differs from my own, (LOL) but obviously they can and do.

It would be pretty boring if we all agreed all of the time–there would be no point in having a discussion—we could just have ourselves a little Pompous Party and pat each other on the back while toasting our superiority and brilliance at always being right. Ego-friendly, but not very pleasant for anyone other than the party honorees. Debate without malice is healthy, and who knows, we might just learn something from it. All I ask is that everyone be respectful of each other even when we disagree–unless, of course, the person you are disagreeing with is a bona-fide TROLL.

Trolls are another story altogether. They are not welcome here–and thanks to several of our wonderful and delightful neighborhood troll whackers (Ostella and Jill come to mind, and Hadley should probably join their ranks)–they don’t venture in very often. My definition of a troll is someone who only wants to cause trouble–not voice their true opinion. The more trouble they cause the happier they are. Hit and run is their usual MO. They strike and leave–rarely coming back to defend their actions.

I don’t think you are a troll Catsmeow o1. I think you are just voicing your opinion and wanting to learn the opinions of others. That means you are welcome to do just that. Just expect there not to be many supporters of your point of view here.

Ostella gave you some good advice above:

Back up your opinions with some facts, not personal assesments of Casey’s mothering skills that you’ve gathered by looking at some photos. Otherwise nobody will take you seriously.

Hadley I love your idea of a sweet little memorial for Caylee.

jilligansworld, to answer your question, there is a HUGE difference betweeen journalists, authors, interviewers etc. that MAKE THEIR LIVING investigating, reporting, writing etc. and grandparents who supposedly loved her. A HUGE DIFFERENCE. Don’t you see that?

And they get a nice chunk of cash from the press that could go towards finding their granddaughter (who they claim to love and miss so much), who has been held by foreign drug dealers for about a year…and ultimately get their daughter out of jail, and bring the real killer to justice…. And they chose to spend that $$$ on a cruise to the Bahamas instead?

I have never followed a case, until this case made headlines, like most of you guys and the Public, I feel Casey is guilty guilty guilty!!!! As far as rest of Casey’s family….they do not live with reality, a lot of folks live in their own make believe lives. BUT…taking a Cruise is not abnormal, after losing our daughter, taking care of her 24-7 (She had SMA) for 25 years, My husband and I took a trip, just to get away from the memories of death, regroup, and work together on how to face each day without Tracy. I cannot condemn their cruise, if anyone needs to regroup after the last year +, it is Cindy and George, hopefully afer relaxing, they can began to see the truth as it looks to the Public. We did not put a tattoo on our body in memory of our daughter, but we did do a memory garden. We each do different things to cope with the lost of someone close. living in Fl. for 10 years, one can go to the Bahainas
for hardly nothing! I am speaking of less than $200. I hope to live long enough to see this case come to trial. Like everyone this child touched my heart and it is sad to say but this case is much too common. I honestly cannot imagine killing anyone, let alone a child. I agree with the other comments, that no one had a reason to kill this beautiful child, except her Mom, and the Mom should pay the price according to mans law. This is one case that kept me up many nights (waiting for Nancy Grace to come on) (and reading documents ), now my concerns are over the little girl in Fl. Hailey who disappeared while her Dad was working and 17 year old watching her….another crazy case, the child is most important, I feel she is dead, but when you hear her Grandmother, she believes the child is alive, I cannot imagine living thru such drama, my situation of watching our daughter for 25 years to die a slow painful death, is better than having her disappear and not know, at least i KNEW I was taking great care of her and she was in God’s Palm whenever the end arrived, I said my good byes, had my kisses, and my Love Yous, and her last hours we sang her to heaven, no drama, just life…Reality…We are Born, We Live, We Die, some of us much earlier than we should and by another persons hand….Makes ME SAD AND SICK TO MY STOMACH!

Not because they shouldnt go 0on a cruise, but as usual, they blither on about being broke, taking money for interviews to pay their way, while they are recieving disability checks!I find it difficult to believe ( being in the same field) that Cindy couldnt find a job, and it would be good to distract her from the angst in her life. George apparently never likes to work for long, no surprise there. My complaint…Dont cry poor and sport new tatoos( yess 300 dollars each or more, which is plenty if you say you are destitute) and go on vacations if you are too disabled to work. Maybe sounds cold, but with grown children going to school while working full time, son in law stocking at the local grocery store at night while in school all day long…they just got basic cable and were elated, felt it was a luxury. No pity for the A’s. except for the loss of their grand daughter, and noblame for her death, but a request they act with more class and ethics with their continuous lies and ” Its all about US” attitude.

OMG excellent post, and makes sooo much sense. You can feel alot about the A’s, compassion, sympathy, disgust, apathy, but you have to give Cindy credit for forethought. I would like to comment on the question which asks if the people who took the photos on the cruise are not just as bad as the A’s or if they aren’t just as bad…or, whatever. First, nobody’s statements were made which rated the amount of badness involved. (That I could see anyway.) I can’t explain any of my own bad behavior away by pointing at other people and saying they are worse, either. I would still be exactly as bad as I was, you see? I don’t think anybody made any comments, in other words, trying to rate people as per their “badness” of exploiting Caylee. They were simply commenting that it is a bit disgusting to see family members who profess to have loved this child then turning around to make money off of her death. Some strangers can almost be expected to make money off of her if that is how low their own moral fiber is. They did not LOVE Caylee and they see this as an opportunity to exploit her death and they don’t feel badly doing it. So, who’s worse? If we must assign a grade to it (in order to answer the question posed above) then I will vote that I believe the A’s are worse.
Also, they chose to place themselves into a public area and then removed most of their clothing as would be expected in a cruise ship setting. They must logically assume that they are going to be photographed wherever they go. So, I will assume that they purposely put these tattoos on display for the public to see and to be photographed. That is my right to make such an assumption. I could be wrong. I might be right. As far as why they would do this, I personally can’t imagine what positive reaction that they might have expected to receive. That doesn’t surprise me because I am often left almost speechless by their behavior. My usual reaction to their actions is disgust, although I was quite open minded and sympathetic towards them when this case first came to light. I even got all caught up in the possibility of their being in denial until it became too fantastic to believe. Way too profitable for them to appear NOT to believe IMO. Too many contradictions and too many slippery changes of words and full statements that appeared to be nothing but lies. Lies upon lies. Now, they do make me sick and yes, to answer the question, I do find them much worse than the people on the cruise who took the photos. At this point, I would even question if they, themselves, didn’t have their friends take the photos and split the proceeds! This is the result of their own behavior that I would question every last thing that they do and even question if this were a true answer to why they are in the newspapers so scantily dressed. Because, IMO, they do nothing without some ulterior motivation for their own advantage. Because, from early on, that is how I have evaluated everything they have already done.

Forrest-excellent comment! It’s not the cruise so much as the timing. She wants us to believe Caylee is alive and they are actively searching for her, and Casey didn’t do it. So instead of spending every last dime on finding Caylee they go on a cruise. The day that Casey’s bid for freedom is thrown out by Judge Strickland they leave for a cruise.

I was on a cruise in March and I’m in Cindy’s “age” group. I can tell you that no one was around to photograph me except my husband, but no way would I have worn a bikini like Cindy did. I would not gallivant around in a very young woman’s bikini–and I certainly wouldn’t do it with my son there, and I really wouldn’t do it if I knew I was being watched. So, yes, I agree with you that Cindy had an ulterior motive and it worked. She managed to get the word out there that she and George were on a cruise and they had new tattoos which got her just what she wanted–to be splashed all across the rags and internet.

Sorry all, I will make my comments much shorter in the future. I just get so worked up when it comes to these people but that’s no excuse. I guess it’s the diamond earrings that set me off. So absurd for a grown man(?) to even be thinking of earrings at all, never mind under the circumstances.
“Whoaaa. I need a break from this media circus and attention and all the heartbreak and sorrow I’m feeling and that awful hotel room in Daytona Beach, what a dive THAT was and, ~hey!~ diamond earrings just popped into my mind. I’m visualizing diamond earrings but where did that come from? Don’t know. Don’t care…better get some.” (see the connection?)

    Tengard (Jilligan)

I feel like we’ve been down this road before. No, I couldn’t stop loving my daughter, but I would never ever never in a million years try to thwart justice for my murdered granddaughter if my daughter did it. I would be broken-hearted and I would grieve for both of them, but I wouldn’t try to keep my daughter from being punished.

Please don’t say that “I wouldn’t know what I would do if it happened to me.” I DO know what I would do. I wouldn’t want to believe it at first, but when I smelled death in the car my daughter abandoned after my granddaughter UNCHARACTERISTICALLY was taken away from me, and KNOWING how my daughter lied, I would eventually–rather quickly, actually, come to the same conclusion LE did. I would then do whatever was necessary to help them get the truth from her. I wouldn’t have avoided the subject with her inside my home because I was afraid there were bugs planted. (Who the heck could do that? I would be at her throat to get the truth out of her–which is what I understand George did at one point–but that was before he did a complete about face with his story.)

If you want to enlighten us, enlighten us on that. Can you honestly say to me you would not have tried to get the truth from your daughter if she were in your house with you?? Would you have cared if the police heard the truth through bugs perceived to planted in your home?? Would you wear Caylee’s ashes around your neck while with a straight face you say you are looking for a live Caylee still ?? How disrespectful is that?

And, btw, I posted the price of the cruise in another post. I was aware of how much it cost and said so. https://itsamysterytome.wordpress.com/2009/10/19/the-cruising-anthonys-masters-of-bad-timing/

I THOUGHT SHES STILL ALIVE ACCORDING TO THEM???!!!
If they love her so much, and they’re saying she’s still alive, then they should spend EVERY PENNY and EVERY waking moment trying to bring her home. Anything less is offensive to HER. I don’t care if they spent $20 or $100000 on cruise tickets, the fact of the matter is, they were given resources (CASH) that couldve located their “still missing” loved one, and they chose to spend it on themselves.

Lately, as in after the whole world was notified of her death? What planet have I stumbled on to here and how do I get back home? If convenient, please put a link so I can enjoy the latest incredible Anthony marvel taking place in the center ring. I have a “bad seat” behind a white elephant and I missed this show. Keep up your speculations, they get more and more interesting. I’m going to let the Jury, Judge, State, Defense and the Good Lord do their job. I know that Justice for Caylee will prevail. Here’s a better question, and one that you might be able to answer as it has nothing to do with revealing information about George and Cindy. Why did you decide to reach out and become friends with the Anthonys? Why would you want to do that? Did you have an ulterior motive?

I wasn’t asking you to speak for them, I was asking for YOUR feedback. Do YOU think –since they’re arguing their granddaughter is alive– that spending $$$ on themselves (cruise, tats, bling) is offensive to the grandchild who’s being held by foreign kidnappers, missing her family, suffering God only knows what kind of abuse….???????

What is insane to me, if Jiligan is a friend of George and Cindys, and their daughter Casey has a big surprise in store for all of us per Cindy, that will make us all understand what and why all this happened, and give her a mother of the Year award….Wouldnt they tell Jill–Tengard– as She has been a supporter of them? Dear friends…that is how the relationship is described…how does she not know what the big bombshell of innocence is? Or do Cindys friends treat her the same way as Caseys…tiptoe through the tulips, dont make waves. Im not questioning the legitimacy of Tengard ( Jilligan) knowing and caring about the Anthonys, I just wonder why our speculation could even be interesting at all given she has the inside track. Just an observation, I cant imagine my friends on blogs if it were my child in this position, they wouldnt care what strangers were speculating, as I would have told them all that I know already.

    itsamysterytome,
Thanks for the link. Now I can understand others who commented about the A’s saying Caylee is alive even now. It is amazing how far the A’s will push things but it only supports my own belief that Caylee has always been worth more missing than dead and found. She is worth more missing than alive and found, for that matter, IMO. The A’s have banked their entire plan (non-profit, of course) on the necessity that Caylee remain missing “forever” which would be the only way they can be assured of being supported by donations for as long as THEY both should live. They have to pretend to be in some sort of denial long after it is even remotely believable and this is why I have become so angry at them. They mimic other families who do initially go into denial when they first learn their child is missing. But, over time, sincere families do finally accept what is fact and what is unbearable to think about and they put their denial aside. Sincere families also join forces with LE. What a kick in the teeth the A’s are to families who really have a missing child. The A’s are perpetrating one of the biggest scams I’ve ever seen first hand and are doing so under the guise of being grieving grandparents. (By the way, no diagnosis here but sociopaths also mimic normal human emotions for personal gain because they, themselves, know from an early age, that they don’t and can’t feel those emotions as other people do.) The A’s know that there are people who will accept anything they do as “normal ugly grieving” and still feel sorry for them. So, maybe Caylee isn’t dead to them because she’s still out there working for them and bringing in the cash. Caylee will only die for them when the money dries up. That’s how the A’s lie (mix a little true and false together and you get truth.) Cindy said something a long time ago. Caylee was the best mistake that Casey ever made but she was Casey’s mistake. Sorry Casey, but Cindy’s changed her mind.

I have NEVER seen where a murderer of a little child and her whacko parents turned into a Reality Show such as this one has. THEY are overpowering, outshining the poor little victim ~ who certainly got LOST in this case.

I have been wondering if Sindy’s WAR that she has taken on, is because she couldn’t BEAR IT if her own “Casey – sweetheart” was found GUILTY of killing her own little 2 year old. That would not bode well for HER “parenting skills”, nor HER.

I think he said in his deposition that he wanted to get back to some kind of normal life. Unfortunately, thanks to his sister, (and his money grubbing parents) his life will never be normal again. But, hey, he should be grateful for that. His precious little niece has no life at all.

I just wanna ask one question to Caylee’s grandparents…where the hell were you when she needed you….George I hope you live with the vision for the rest of your life. She needed you and you ignored it and what is even more pathetic is you are still ignoring….Cindy you are not worth even speaking about. Hope you enjoyed your trip on the money you made from the death of your grand-daughter…how could you allow this….I am a grand parent…I would never ever turn my back on my grand-daughter no matter what….losers

Hi everyone. I have a question that for me, at least, sits like the big elephant in the middle of the room. Who the heck is Caylee’s biological father? What a strange case, why all the secrecy, does ANYONE know? Jackie-marie

    Hey copper!

Yep, looks like those pesky little critters are gonna get her in the end!

Those bugs prove that the body was in the trunk very shortly after death. They can’t say any longer that someone else had possession of the child and she was killed and dumped after Casey went to jail. This can’t be viewed as “junk science” either. I personally think that the defense is going to have quite a job on their hands…all easy escape routes (excuses that can’t be disproved yet weren’t that believable to begin with) are closing up around them.

Oh, but I forgot! Didn’t Cindy suggest that somebody might have placed the body into the trunk at the tow yard? A very highly motivated individual, I guess…all fenced in and possible guard dog…seems like quite a chance to take. But, then again, we’ve been surprised before because you know how pizza that’s not there can smell after it’s been in a car trunk for that long, too. Anything is possible…reach for the sky!

No public people know the answer and nobody knows if Casey even knows for sure. IMO, it doesn’t impact the case at all so it isn’t important to know. It would be something that the defense could use to try and pin the murder onto someone else as possible motive. However, they apparently are not playing that card. So, for all intents and purposes of convicting her murderer, as things stand; it doesn’t matter a wit who Caylee’s father is.

The Anthonys friends say they took a trip for a much needed rest……….I think they took the trip because they knew what was in the latest doc dump and wanted to get back in the news to add some chaos. That seems to be theirs and the defense’s MO. Anytime there is a doc-dump they all jump in front of cameras right before the release to either talk about how weak the prosecution is, or to say or do something outrageous to draw attention.

jackie–I see that Forrest gave his opinion of why he thinks who Caylee’s father is will not impact the case unless the defense plans to use the biological father as a suspect with a motive when trying to show Casey isn’t the only person that could have murdered her. I agree with that statement.

But, I also thinks it’s important for the prosecution. It shows that Casey was a liar and a schemer before Caylee was born. She was capable of lying and denying she was pregnant far beyond the time there could be any doubt that she was with child. She gave 3 or 4 versions of who the father was showing she was spinning her stories before the baby was born.

I agree–the bugs are really the smoking gun in the case. In the enotmologist’s report, he indicated the bugs in the trunk and bugs found with the body both showed only a few blowflies indicating that the body had been in a protected area in the beginning. (the trunk) After the body was deposited the bugs were of the type that preferred to feed on a more advanced state of decomp.

Holding out that it was scraps of pizza that had contaminated the car to the point that it will never rid itself of the smell is ridicules. For Cindy to say that for so long added to everything else she has said in done, does not make her a very credible witness for either side. (her intent, perhaps?)

despicable to profit from the death of your grandchild, to exploit for profit and charge for interviews and charge for pictures. FYI-Drew and I, parents of Abducted Jennifer Kesse-age 24,from in or near her Mosaic at Millenia in Orlando 1/24/06, a gated security guarded complex-(folks do not be deceived and let your guard down) HAVE NEVER BEEN PAID TO DO A TV INTERVIEW IT NEVER EVEN CAME UP NOR HAVE WE EVER CHARGED ANYONE FOR PICTURES. The media’s help in keeping the awareness of this heinous crime is all we ask, not financial compensation. We are hard working, middle class people who have unconditional love for both our children and not all parents of missing children, EXPLOIT the situation for financial gain. We do not have attorneys representing us or any of our family members….we do not need representation. SPEAKS volumes about the type of individuals the Anthony’s are….please never put us in the same category. They choose to view themselves as victims….we have verbalized time and time again, Jenn is the victim, this is about finding her, we are the by-products of this heinous crime. Thankyou-please visit http://www.findjenniferkesse.com pass the website to everyone in your address book here/abroad and ask them to do the same.

Thank you Ms. Kesse, for your heartfelt words. I agree with you that it is absolutely despicable to profit in any form or fashion from the disappearance of your child. There is no reason or excuse for it. If the Anthonys’ or any other family raise the argument that they can get money no other way because of the notoriety of their situation, I say, as relatives of the victim, don’t become notorious. It’s as simple as that. Behave in a dignified manner and speak only of your missing child in public. The child, as you put it, is the victim–you are a by-product of the crime committed against her.

I have posted on your new reward for the safe return of your daughter, Jennifer, at this LINK:

Surely the Anthonys doesnt think that there ever will be help for casey..?
Those ppl have really been thru Hell and back with this unthinkable adversity that they will live with forever. I heard that someone has created a web site for emotional support for the Anthonys, if nothing else to offer support of this horrendous act that their daughter has done.
Does anyone know of such a site?

I really like this pair of diamond earrings. The price was good. The color and the size was pretty good. This was my first time purchasing jewelry from Amazon and I was very impressed with the quality. The earring backs were a little small so I replaced them with better snap on backs that I obtained from my private jeweler. You cannot beat the price.
