Casey Anthony due in court this morning at 10 AM

April 5, 2010

UPDATE: Judge Strickland denies Casey Anthony’s defense motion!

UPDATE:  Watch it here:

It’s court day for Casey Anthony!  She’ll be in court this morning with her attorneys as they give their arguments as to why they want access to more TES records.  The hearing will be at 10 AM.

TES claims 32 people searched the woods near where Caylee’s remains were found but never looked in the exact place due to flooding in the area.

Strickland made TES make the records of those 32 people available to the defense for review.  The defense team says they’ve found other volunteers who weren’t on the list but say they did search the exact location where Caylee was found.  So, now Jose Baez wants Judge Strickland to give his team access to ALL of TES’ records.

TES’ attorney will be in court to argue otherwise.

Read it below:

Hmmmm–Joy Wray–now there’s a reliable witness.  If Baez  is planning to use that lady in a “Un uh-Casey din’ do it cuz’ she was in jail when some other person dumped Caylee in the woods” defense against all those recently released CREDIBLE and consistent statements by TES volunteers saying the water was to high to search in the area, well, good luck with that, Jose.  And good luck getting access to more TES records.

    Good morning!
Isn’t this motion bs nauseating? Bet Casey is sick and tired of walking into the court room. She wants to be out and about. 🙂 This murderous felon has no clue that she will take permanent residence WHERE SHE’S AT, and can only dream of those hunky looking detectives she tried to deceive. Seriously, the only good thing about today will be the presence of Mr. Nejame and of course, the judge. I so hope the Anthonys put a bag over their heads in court, but I know that is just wishful thinking on my part.

    Hi Mystery,
Hope your had a great Easter. It was really beautiful weather here for the kids to hide eggs. Well i guess were going to be graced with snothead’s presence today and of course rubber necking cindy and george to see their Mother of the year CEO. lol. What i am hoping for is Mr.Strictland to rip Baez a new one for filing once again a dumb head worthless motion about all things once again Texas Equasearch. He earned his clown name.

Hi! We had a great Easter–our weather was beautiful, too. We dodged wedding construction

I see that one of the witnesses has not shown up yet…. Can’t wait to see Nejame tear into Baez–I’d love to see him go up against Mason.

Mystery, so glad to hear you had a great Easter and your weather was good. I got interrupted with my painter working today on the inside of the house and missed the whole dang show . I have just viewed Mikka’s links but i cannot get any sound . Casey doesn’t look like a happy camper today. Probably didn’t like her beauty sleep disturbed, lol. We know she never really wanted to go to any of these hearings. It cramps her style. She should have thought of that before she killed Caylee. I imagine she thinks by now she should have thought of a lot of things . Did G&C do the bobble head thing today too or have they finally gotten the picture yet that snothead is not interested in looking at them or waving or smiling at them? oh what am i saying, of course dummy G&C have not gotten the picture yet. They are idiots. I guess there was no Lee there today either right? I am anxious to get a link to see all of it.

  17. April 5, 2010 10:20 am

Hi Mikka, Bees, thanks for the links Mikka as i missed it all. Bees yes where was Lyon? all i saw in Mikka’s links was Mason and Baez sitting at the table with snothead. I guess Lyon has been shoved out of the picture now we have great grandpa. lol.

  18. April 5, 2010 10:23 am

I also saw in the link of mikka’s stupid Casey being shoved as she was about to go the wrong direction, ha ha ha. I bet she really would like to have smacked that guard but i enjoyed every minute of it. lol

Yeah, where was Lyin’ indeed? Could it be that she’s been replaced by the arrogant Mason? He’s cooled his heels a bit since his last appearance though. I think he’ll just be one more destroyed career added to the Defense’s heap. Have you noticed how anyone who does find themselves on the wrong side of this case ends up wishing they hadn’t from Todd Black/Cabot, Todd Macaloser, Lyin’ etc. I know there were more. But all the BEST are on Caylee’s side.

Mystery, I’m glad to be here today. Blogland seems really sleepy. no reporting on the hearing that I can find. No after-hearing interviews of Baez tripping over his long tongue either.

You know what’s really bugging me? Why is there even a question of whether or not Caylee’s body was put there later? We have all of the FORENSIC PROOF that Caylee’s bones had been there from BEFORE the water made it impossible to search. There was plant life, among who knows what all, that grew THROUGH her bones proving the date she was dumped. And we have The Weather Reports clearly saying the water was there. So knowing all that how can they keep saying over and over that Caylee was moved there later??? It’s like “concrete evidence” vs. “someone’s opinion”.

  29. April 5, 2010 11:31 am

Lona 1, your son is a very astute young man. Now i want to see George almost exploding. ooh where is a video of it.

  30. April 5, 2010 11:34 am

Bees, yes indeed, anyone that is goofy enough to interject theirselves in this circus Baez has created is just plain stupid and wish they hadn’t once there run over by the clown car. What was Cheny Mason thinking ? Oh he was wanting to save the poor damsel in distress being picked on by the big bad State and us blogger’s . ha ha ha ha ha.

  31. April 5, 2010 11:51 am

Baez has nothing to defend snothead with so he has to continue on beating the equasearch to death and the water was not there. He continues to make a fool of himself as usual. We know he is lazy but by now i would think he would have at least heard about the plant life growing up through Caylee’s bones like you just mentioned. That proves she was not moved . However, maybe we need to borrow Cindy’s hammer to beat it in to his head. Nejamne will hammer it in his dumb skull and Bozo will not know what hit him.

Baez expenses are on the taxpayer’s dime now–he better start paying attention to how he chooses to spend their money. IMO,OF COURSE, there is no question that that child’s body had been there all along at this point. As Bee’s said, the forensic evidence proves that—even without the TES volunteers saying it was under water.

On another note–Apparently the defense will not fight to keep the jailhouse letters under wraps.
According to Baez, “There are no admissions.” (in the letters) Guess that means we will see those notes and letters sooner rather than later!!!! 😀

    more docs and letters release,

Late Monday afternoon, Judge Strickland denied the defense request, but said Casey’s attorneys can still go and look at the documents and, if they flag something that could be important, they can go back to the judge and try to get that released. The judge, though, isn’t going to blanket release all the documents.

Here’s what’s next in the case against Casey. Later this month, more discovery documents are expected to be released. In May, the civil case brought against Casey by Zenaida Gonzalez will have a pre-trial hearing.

Meanwhile, no one objected to the release of 50 jail house letters written by Casey so they could be made public as early as Tuesday afternoon.

I think she was told to look more serious & not laugh & smirk like the last few times. laughing & smiling is not going to go over welll with a jury . . . at all.

Bees- all baez is doing is trying to verbally get out any kind of doubt he can into the media. he is banking on most of the public (potential jurors) not reading the discovery documents that are out there so he keeps throwing all this stuff (Kronk, the body was put there after, the searchers, etc.). Funny he never mentioned that Joe Jordan later recanted that statement he made in the email to LE. Joe said after seeing the exact area where she was found was NOT where he was able to search because of the water! he stated this in his depo.

Baez and Mason did an after-hearing interview with In Sessions. Baez keeps repeating a line about “What are THEY hiding? The more they try to keep us out, the more we know there is something in those documents. We already found two witnesses that say they did search the area, how many more are in there?”

Yet he can’t go down to NeJame’s office to review the documents because he can’t use a pen, he has short-term memory problems, and the documents are in no particular order.

If only NeJame would re-order his records correctly, starting with Found Body & Ignored, to Found Body & Planted Xtra Evidence, to Saw No Body & Transported Body to Location Later, to Planted Xtra Bodies to Hinder Investigation. Then it would be a lot easier for the defense.

What is he suppossed to do, just pile up all the documents he wants copies of in a stack? And mess up their intricate no particular order filing system? How is he suppossed to remember which stack he wants copied, right or left, without a pen and notepad to write it on?

And who is Jose referring to as THEY? TES? Tim Miller is now part of the conspiracy that involves every branch of Florida law enforcement, state prosecution, all jail staff anywhere in the United States or Puerto Rico, the FBI, and labs in TN. Yes, Tim found the real killer, but being a cold-hearted individual that has helped more than 1,100 families search for their missing loved ones (never once being treated with the disdain and disrespect of the Anthony family), he determined to let KC rot in jail. Because that sounds like Tim.

I watched the hearing but missed the interview later, darn it. Although I think I’m glad I did. I absolutely cannot stomach listening to Baez whine. It’s absolutely ridiculous to me to think anyone (LE, Prosecution, TES, and anyone else who has come to believe that Casey killed her daughter) is part of some vast conspiracy to make sure Casey dies. Why would they do that? The short answer is they wouldn’t. ON THE OTHER HAND, I believe that Casey’s defense team(for reasons unfathomable to me) would do anything at this point to get her off–including doing all the things they are accusing the prosecution of doing.

This is an interesting article because there was a mini-fight during the hearing yesterday about something that was stated during this hearing, but the judge kind of cut it off. It wasn’t exactly clear to me what they were disputing, but it was something the defense said. Maybe someone else heard that part better than me or can bring us some clarity? My bet is the prosecutor is now researching that tidbit:

KC, I need you to write a bunch of letters detailing how awful your parents are so we can make them possible suspects and make everyone else so sorry for you they find you not guilty. After you get a whole bunch done, I’ll get someone to alert the prosecution so they will have to enter them into evidence. Try to write you are innocent on each one, just in case any get thrown out.

Mystery, the best part of the after-hearing interview was when long-winded Mason started into a rant and a train chose that moment to rush by hooting its horn and drowing out the windbag to the point even he had to stop because he couldn’t hear himself or the questions of the interviewer.

It was the most likeable moment I have ever spent with the defense.

  67. Spacely permalink
    April 6, 2010 8:58 am

Jose did say during his interview (which took more time than it would have to walk to NeJame’s office and begin perusing documents) that the trial is taking so long to get started because of all the work involved with trying to read all the documents pertaining to the case.

I guess that is probably so when you have to suddenly drop everything for a week to read a novel-length set of letters written by your client in express violation of the rules of her confinement.

  68. Spacely permalink
    April 6, 2010 9:07 am

Mason also said this during the after-hearing interview:

Mason took a swipe at NeJame, saying the contentious hearing was expected “given the personality of the little player there for Texas.”

In other words, Mason had no real legal arguements for NeJame, so he took a pot-shot at his height. I guess good ol’ southern boys like Mason would term the remark as “classy”.

How DARE the Defense blame the State for length of time it is taking to get this to trial??? HOW FREAKIN’ DARE THEM!!!!! What a blatant example of spinning lies. It is his strategy to draw this case out as loooooooooooong as he can, and it is painfully obvious. Yet he has the gall to blame the State!!! Amazing! It’s things like this that make me hate the guy.

That, and did you hear Baez mocking Linda DB by changing his voice and repeating what she said? Honest to God I haven’t heard anyone be so annoying and so immature since I was in Grade School!!!! Somebody really should knock that smirk off his face. And why is Strickland not addressing that? How can he let it go? It was like the “ignorant” comment by Mason. It’s just all kinds of wrong. And there sat Cindy chewing away on her cud giving her finger once again to the court after being told at the last hearing she could not. But of course, let’s not forget that the Anthonys are so grand and so above all of us they do not have to abide by the same laws as we do, I know, I know.

This case in no OJ, it doesn’t even come close to the finesse of Mark Geragos in the Scott Peterson trial. Wishful thinking on Baez’s part. He has made this case look so stupid with all his ramblings in court. There is no mystery here. He has made his client look more guilty by behaving the way he does. His tactics and ramblings in court are appauling. He is not even qualified to ‘pull the wool’ over the public’s eyes. He is just plain not qualified to even speak in court. His hunger to be in the media is now biting him in the rear – just wait for the trial! His disrespect will not fly in the civil trial. I know he is not the attorney for Casey there, but if he is called as a witness, his anticts won’t sit well with J. Rodriguez. He won’t have it and Baez will be eaten alive!

CMA = I still strongly suspect that it was “Cheney Mason, Attorney” who Lee was wailing about at the memorial service.

Maybe when the defense team filed that motion about the blogs/media being bias and Casey not getting a fair trial they should have added Mr. Mason’s own comments to their exhibit! Defense attorney Cheney Mason said “claims made by Casey Anthony and Baez that Caylee was alive will now work against them at trial.” ”Then all the talking, all the press interviews and the parents going on this show and that show and the lawyer going on different shows establishes they have NO credibility whatsoever,” “You can pretty well predict there’s going to be a life sentence, either a plea and get it over with or have a circus trial and then be convicted and get life,” Mason said.” “Knowing what I know at this time, there’s not a snowball’s chance you know where I put her on the witness stand,” Mason said. “Why is that?” Pipitone said. “Well, because there’s so much to cross-examine her about,” Mason said. “Do you just say, ‘The defense rests.’ Don’t even put on a defense?” Pipitone asked. “There’s a good chance that would be the case,” Mason said.

Defense CLUE #1 Quantcast. DOES the defense even know what this is? These idiots (DEFENSE) fought against a gag order! AND GOT PAID ENTIRELY BY FUNDS PAID BY THE MEDIA…They have opened the door to efforts to maximize coverage…They would do better to run their options through the magic eightball. Andrea Lyons, who is first chair, does not appear on that motion. Cheney Mason “Notary” is expired. Jose make critical errors and claims. Their PI distorts reality.

I couldn’t believe it when Mason joined the defense. One has to assume that the statements he made earlier are his true views. Why, then, would he want to defend Casey Anthony? Gotta be for the publicity.

This bumbling bunch of baffoon barristers continues to entertain and amaze……

I just rescued you from spam. (again!) Don’t know why you have been ending up there. There were no links in your comment which is what usually throws someone into moderation.

No, I haven’t posted my thoughts on the letters yet. So much going on personally, (the wedding) and also here, that I’m fighting to keep up! 😆

Thanks for continuing to pray for baby girl! She’s doing so much better!
