Misty Croslin’s cousin, Joe Overstreet arrested for (surprise!surprise!) drugs

August 9, 2010
Misty Cumming’s cousin, Joe Overstreet, was arrested today for allegedly growing marijuana at his Tennessee home in a weekend SWAT raid. The charges were for manufacturing marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  A second man, Justin Hogue, was also arrested on theft and drug charges.  He has been released on bond.
Tennessee police say they went to Overstreet’s house in response to a tip about an assault.  The car used in the assault was located at Joe’s home, and during a subsequent search they found marijuana growing in the backyard.
Joe was accused by Misty Cummings and her brother, Tommy, of being the one that kidnapped Haleigh Cummings, the little girl who disappeared while under Misty’s care in February 2009.  Police in Satsuma have interviewed Joe extensively in the past but no arrest in relation to Haleigh’s disappearance has ever been made of him—or anyone else for that matter.
So, Joe’s arrested for drugs–just like Misty, and Ron, and her brother, Tommy, and  Misty’s mommy and daddy. (have I left anyone out? yawn)  I hope, (but seriously doubt), that this latest arrest will help bring new information to light as to what happened to  little Haleigh.  But, the good news is anyone and everyone connected to this case is now, or with a little luck, will soon be behind bars!

Hey Mystery! Yep! Lock them all up for their habits and behaviors and that will most likely be the justice that Haleigh receives. I used to really believe they would find her, but I don’t think so anymore. I don’t even hold out hope any of those brain dead low lifes will ever tell the truth. I don’t think any of them had any home training, and can think passed their lifestyles. What a crying shame that is the family that poor Haleigh had. She deserved so much better.

I agree niecey. It will be an absolute miracle if we ever find out what happened to Haleigh. Sadly, there are many many Haleighs out there with families as bad or worse.

    Happy Birthday, Caylee!!!

I know this is wishful thinking, but maybe they will offer Joe a sweet deal and he’ll tell what he knows…………

Wonder what the connection is between Joe Overstreet and his arrest-mate Justin Hogue……..birds of a feather Or could they be related somehow?

    Just curious……….

    Aren’t they ALL related? 🙂

Seriously, how stupid is this kid? He knows he is being watched and still does illegal things. Following in Mistys footsteps.

Uhmmm, would the answer be REAL stupid?

Joe knows exactly what happened to Haleigh.

    Joe deserves whatever he gets.

I hope he is still crying everytime he thinks about Haleigh.

You were there, Joe. Tell us what happened to Haleigh. Where is Haleigh???

    I agree with you, Spacely.

Little brother, please tell these people where the girl is. I know you know! I have been watching. You will never be forgiven. There are different floors in hell. You don’t want to be on the one you’re headed for.

For me it’s always said to hear about young people gettin’ arrested for weed related offenses. together with some colleges I started a small cannabutter business which seems to grow day by day, so we decided to start a program to try to get people like Joe off the streets and into a legitimate medical marijuana business. So, for those interested in the program, please contact us at the email above. 10x and I hope this message is not in vain. By the way…I love your blog:)
