Sylar Newton found dead

August 10, 2010
It appears that the skeletal remains of 2 year old, Sylar Newton, have been found.  His precious little body was found at the bottom of a wash less than 2 miles from the Beaver Creek Campground in Arizona that he disappeared from on July 24th.  There is speculation that Sylar came to rest there because of recent flash floods, but no details have been released at this time.  The cause of death is not yet known.

I have been following the Sylar Newton case wondering why he wasn’t found sooner. 47 hears ago, nearing the age of two, clad in a thick jacket my youngest boy suddenly disappeared. We were in the midst of a forest getting the cabin and grounds ready for fishing seasaon. After a car had driven in and left, strangers, I noticed he was no longer digging in the sand. It wasn’t but 15 minutes later the phone rang and it was the game warden. He asked if I were missing a boy, I said we can’t find the youngest. The game warden had called from a bar 5 miles away. The people who had him said they found him walking on the main road. The main road is a good 1 mile from the cabin. He must have walked to the main road, but the time period was not long. I thought the people took him with and when they walked into the bar the game warden recognized him as my child. This is a small area and everyone knows everyone else. No cell phones at that time. He came back to the cabin safe and sound with my father. But it has always puzzled me how he got to the main road so fast!

Your post gave me chills. I say you were beyond lucky that for whatever reason your little guy turned up at that bar. I hate to think the worst of people and they may have truly been good samaritans, but because you saw that car of strangers I have to wonder, like you, what their intentions really were. I’m so glad your son was found and that you had a happy ending.

I remember this story only too well. it reminds me of Casey Anthony leaving Caylee’s tiny body to rot. These monsters knew the raptors would devour little Sylar and leave nothing but bones. I see this as a thought out crime, leave a child to fend on its own, or kill the child and dump the little body for animals to eat. My heart is hurting for these innocent babies!

If there are any updates, please inform us folks. My heart aches for this child. His little body was thrown away like garbage. Why does our great country have so many child deaths? I don’t understand how adults can be so cruel. He has a new little body now in Heaven. You’re so right about precious little body, 😦 , I just cry every time I think about a baby being left outside. The smallest of our human race are suffering the most, by adults, who think babies are nothing but a by- product of a one night stand or fleeting relationship. Our young women, have lost their natural ability to nurture and love. I blame the disregard of babies on feminism. These women are a disgrace to my gender. Where are their motherly instincts to protect? Where is their true feminine soul? The feminists complain about reproductive rights, but never teach young couples to be chaste, in turn , a helpless child becomes a by-product. They want contraception in our schools, and easy abortion. No more morals, or young ladies who truly value children. Such a pathetic shame.

Too many little bodies are butchered, punched, kicked, sexually abused, beaten to a pulp all because this world is evil. Jesus “suffer the little children to come unto me”. little James Bulger was killed by two evil ten year old boys and left on a train track to be destroyed by a train. 😦 bless the babies souls. Tiny Sylar left to decay. DAMN SADDDDDDDDDDDD!!!

Please have your youngest children read, “It’s My Body”. The book teaches children as young as two, about their body, body safety, and how no one has a right to touch or hurt their body in any way.

Very young child , do not have boundaries, they need to learn about boundaries, both sexual and safety in general.

I wonder if little Sylar could have known how wrong these demonic criminals were. I wonder if he could have told someone about them hurting him. If a little child is threatened , all they need to say is, ” It’s my body”, look for help and be safe. Even a two year old can manage finding a reliable adult to protect them. RIP little Angel!

Children have been devalued to the point, where adults, teenagers and even ten year old boys will take all their rage and hate out on a toddler.

The story of little James Bulger is heartbreaking. Two ten year old boys, destroyed little James’s body so completely, his mother was not allowed to view his tiny battered body.
He was also sexually abused, beaten to death by bricks, rail ties, stones. My heart aches still!

Coralie, These criminals really have no concept, of how little children are human. They must at some level, believe the toddlers are play things, and they can do whatever they want to , to them. JPB was so beaten, his skull was crushed in four places, his body had 43 injuries, he was kicked viciously in the groin, head, all over his body. They found deep wounds, from heavy boots. His precious little body, was used for their hideous entertainment.

You’re right about everything, especially teaching very young children, to not allow hurtful touch.
