Apparently Cindy Anthony has registered a name that would imply she is starting a foundation in Caylee’s name. This is called registering a “Fictitious Name” and is required when the name is one other than your own.*

I’m not a handwriting expert, so I can’t answer with any real authority, but the signatures look alike to me.
There have also been questions concerning the filing of 2 names–“Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation”, and “Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation, Inc.“ . The insinuation being she was trying to start 2 separate foundations, but it looks like the filing that included inc was rejected. Since both were done on the same date I would guess that it was rejected because she was not yet incorporated. Therefore, she filed the 2nd one with inc. removed. That just seems to make more sense to me than assuming she was trying to register 2 names. JMO!

There is a lot of criticism that the Anthony’s may be trying to profit from Caylee’s disappearance, and that’s no mystery to me. The bizarre circumstances surrounding Caylee Anthony’s disappearance and seemingly outrageous behavior of her family members have led people to question the Anthony’s motives. Everyone thinks they would behave better and react differently in the same situation, and I’m as guilty as the next guy for feeling that way. But the truth is, I’m not walking in their shoes, and who knows what their real feelings and purpose is. Not me for sure. So, I’m trying really hard to look at and at least attempt to understand what they’re doing from THEIR side of the fence. So here goes.
They may well be trying to profit from this tragic situation, but there could also be another explanation as to why they would be shopping the networks and magazines for paid interviews and laying the groundwork for foundations. Casey’s defense won’t be cheap, and if they truly believe she is innocent and that their granddaughter is out there somewhere, searching for her will be costly. The Anthonys’ are not wealthy people–you could argue that they were financially unstable to begin with. They may just simply be trying to keep their heads above water and separate their personal finances from the mounting debt they are accruing in the defense of their daughter and the search for a living Caylee. Now I’m NOT SAYIN’ that I believe their granddaughter is alive or that they should be doing any of the things they are doing! I’m just saying this is a possible explanation for the creation of a foundation. Another explanation–George Anthony has stated that he will now make the search for missing children his life’s passion. If that’s a true statement, a foundation would be a logical first step.

It's a mystery to me! 
My guess is that this was suggested by Mark Nejame…. it would be to keep others from profiting off Caylee’s name.
As much as the Anthony’s are critisized…there are worse snakes out there.
And of course it could be the start of the Caylee Anthony foundation…so they may raise money to search for Caylee.
I’m with you Monica, on the issue of Nejame suggesting it. I’ll bet he did and it could be the right thing to do. Not only could they be doing it to raise money to search for Caylee, but as It’s A Mystery To Me has pointed out, George did say something about making it his life work to not only search for Caylee, but search for missing children. I hope they do. Look at John Walsh and Tim Miller and countless others who have turned their tragedy into a quest to help others who are victims. I hope that is what they are doing. It does help you heal, when you reach out to someone else in their time of need.

If George Anthony thinks he’s going to make searching for missing children his lifes passion then perhaps he’d do well to be a little nicer to the one person who is the best at that commitment….Tim Miller and Equusearch.
He’s no more going to do this than Caylee is going to show up alive after this goes to trial.

Mystery, your solution sounds right to me, and kudos for trying to give a suffering family the benefit of the doubt. It is easy to see what’s wrong, but needs a little more effort sometimes to put one’s self in another’s place and try to understand.

I suppose George would like to make it his life work, probably pays a whole lot more than his current job. He seems pretty comfortable in front of the camera, I think he would enjoy taking Adam Walsh’s job.
If george anthony is sooo concerned for the plight of missing children, why is he refusing to face reality and wasting an ENORMOUS amount of resources in the “search” for Caylee? If the anthony family is going to make this their lifes work, perhaps they should learn how to search for a missing child. They could start by searching for Caylee, since they have not lifted a finger to search for their own missing grandchild. Logic would dictate that lying to LE and attacking everyone who tries to help them is not an effective means of finding their missing granddaughter. Telling LE the truth, providing any accurate information to a professional like Tim Miller and turning over “leads” to Law Enforcement, even if they feel like following up on them on their own, would be a place to start. They have not done those things, so it is rather difficult to believe they want to find Caylee, particularly dead as it will bring the charade out into the open.

If this is the case, we should be seeing the actual creation of this foundation shortly–otherwise someone else could take the name and create whatever with it. I would also be angry if they used money given iin Caylee’s name to pay for Casey’s defense.
I would be interested to know what monies they are planning on funding a foundation with. I can’t imagine that people are lining up with their checkbooks to give them cash. Maybe they’re planning on funding it with any checks they receive for interviews.
I have to say, it’s really hard to look at it from their “point of view”. I know it doesn’t “appear” that they are doing much to look for their granddaughter but I don’t know this for a fact.
In the recent disappearance and, thank God, recovery of Cole Puffinburger, his parents behaved in the way most of us would wish we would act under such dire circumstances. What I think we need to try and understand where the Anthonys’ are concerned is they are dealing not just with the disappearance of Caylee–that’s devastating in itself, but also with the possibility that their daughter will be convicted of 1st degree murder and could face the death penalty. That may be beyond what they are capable of dealing with rationally.
I’d be interested to know how other families that have been hit with such a double blow have reacted.

I ran through the woods, dug in piles of dirt, busted down doors, searched in motels, climbed oil tanks, went into caves, followed a buzzard one day up a hill, screamed and cried and prayed, pleaded on television for answers and after thirteen years, I am still searching for Heather. I only know this: how devastating it is for Cindy and for George to open their cabinets and see Caylee’s empty sippy cup. I know how cruel it is to not know where someone you love is. Someone knows where Heather is and what really did happen August 26, 1995 on Newburgh Beach. And Casey Anthony knows where Caylee is. Cindy and George’s hearts must be breaking as they wait for the harsh reality of what Casey did to Caylee. That’s a reality that would be tough for any of us. Matthew 10:26 says that there will be nothing hidden that won’t be revealed. I believe with all of my heart and soul that God has sent Tim Miller to bring Caylee home…because of his heart! May God have mercy on the ones that know where every missing person is tonight.
Oh yes Frankie….the Anthony’s must be overjoyed that Caylee is gone. I’m sure they have only cried tears because they want Casey to get away with murder.

Sara Teague: My prayers are with you and your family. I cannot imagine how awful it is for a child to be missing. Has Tim Miller been available to you to help in the search for your daughter? If not, I hope that he will be freed up soon, as I too believe he may be the only one that will ever have a chance of finding Caylee. He does seem to have a very big heart and I am certain that helping others find missing loved ones does help heal the hurt caused by his daughters death.
monica: Given that the anthonys publicly insist that Caylee is alive, forensic evidence notwithstanding, it would be rather ignorant of anyone to say that the anthonys are overjoyed that Caylee is gone. Therefore; that is not what I said. My statement was that I have only seen tears when casey was being jailed. I just spent the last hour on your website. What a nightmare you have been forced to live in. What a wonderful Mom and advocate, Heather has in you.
Our youngest son went missing for only an hour and 1/2 when he was 3. He wandered off with his little dog. One minute he was there and the next he had just vanished. A lady several blocks away found him and brought him home. We had already organized a neighborhood search and called the police. It felt like someone dug a hole in my chest with a dull knife and ripped my heart out. I had to live with that feeling for only an hour and 1/2. You’ve had it to live with it for 13 years.

Your website is a wonderful tribute and advocacy forum for Heather. Having lost a grandchild to cancer, I understand the pain of the loss, I cannot imagine the pain of not knowing what happened to her and not being able to say goodbye. Please take care of yourself.
I think the insanity of this crime has put everyone on edge. There’s just so much info we’re all wading through and so many opinions and theories we’re all trying to digest.
The complete lack of cooperation by Casey, the fact that we don’t appear to be any closer to finding Caylee than we were on day one, and the unusual behavior of Caylee’s family is just plain frustrating. And lets just acknowledge that her family is not behaving in the way the majority of people would. (case in point, Sarah Teague–most of us would have done as she has and moved heaven and earth to try and find our child.)
Everyone is reacting differently to the Anthonys’ seeming lack of action. It’s hard to be sympathetic and it’s easy to get angry. And if you’re like me, there are days when I lean towards feeling sorry for them and days when I’m mad enough to spit nails.
For me…for a little while I was interested in discussing the Anthony’s…but at some point people need to stop focusing on what everyone already knows…. the child has been missing for almost 5 months now…sitting around complaining about how the Anthony’s handled the situation is not helping Caylee.
People are complaining about the lack of cooperation from Casey…well in my opinion people sitting around doing nothing helps Casey…Not Caylee.
Good point Monica. Sitting around doing nothing does help Casey. It’s frustrating to see others who DO have the ability to help, sitting on their laurels and even refusing the offer of assistance from volunteers like Tim Miller.
Most of us don’t have a way to physically go and search. By talking (and sometimes arguing) about this case does help keep it in the public eye and that does NOT help Casey. By holding everyone accountable and not letting things slide under the radar so to speak, does NOT help Casey or her case. JMO
Well just so everyone knows…there are many things one can do to help without having to go physically and search.
My husband is an accountant and has volunteered his skills. My son is bilingual and has great computer skills…he has volunteered.
Although I wouldn’t mind doing some search and have volunteered to do so… I have also volunteered for flyer distribution, phone research, computer database, printing and copying, and office support…every bit helps…even the small things helps the searchers devote their time where is is most needed.

casey did the dirty deed, but cindy anthony herself fosters the immense hate for this family. Keep in mind casey told her initial BS and SHUT UP. It is the rest of the anthony family that continues to feed the fire.
The problem with sympathy for the family is that allows them to continue to panhandle. They are not working, how are they paying their bills, eating, etc. Please take a guess! If the public wants to send the anthony money to pay their bills, great! But do not dishonor Caylee’s memory by bilking the public out of tax free dollars for a search that the ANTHONYS are not actively participating in! They are handing out fliers at Publix, not stapling them up at the apartment complex that casey says she left her at. They are demanding that the public get off their a–es and look for their granddaughter, yet they are zipping around in limos doing interviews. They have lied to law enforcement, insulted Tim Miller and Leonard Padilla, and show great disdain for the volunteers who were searching for Caylee. Please anyone, tell me how this is something you wish to support? Because that is truly a mystery to me.
Frankie, I’m not supporting the Anthonys’ or their actions. I have not been able to understand why they are behaving like they are. These people may well be vultures feeding off the flesh of their own young, but I hope its just simply that they can’t deal with the truth.

Sarah Teagues story is heart wrenching and the resources being wasted on the anthony case takes away those resources that could be used for Heather! People who are scammed by this bunch will not so readily help the next child in danger…and that could be life threatening. People become cynical when they are duped. They are less willing to open their hearts and their pocketbooks to the next person, for fear of being duped again. I have talked to a few people on here who have donated to help find Caylee and who have gone on searches, only to then find out she is probably dead yet the family keeps on begging. It is so extremely hateful to continue this charade! In these tough time, one lady who searched on her own and whose husband is in the hospital, was not even offered a bottle of donated water by the anthonys. I understand you would like to believe they are not what they seem to be, but the belief is, IMO, enabling them to continue their fraudulent activiites.
I post elsewhere, with people who have carefully followed this case and have a lot of information, very detailed information, about the activities of this family. I am convinced that casey killed her daughter. I do believe that the parents are in a very tough position, but I do not think that they are justified in their actions. They are taking bids on their story for Heavens sake. If that isn’t a vulture feeding on the flesh of their young, I really don’t know what is. I personally would not read a book nor watch a movie or documentary based on the anthonys story. It would be a work of fiction and a slap to a dead angel.

I think we are all in agreement that we would not spend a plug nickel to see a movie or read a book that exploits Caylee Anthony or lines the pockets of her family or anyone else attempting to profit from her murder.

I could sympathize with that. I do understand the financial burden they are facing, and trust me, I know how expensive it can be to help our adult children, it can bankrupt even the most stable families. Our adult children make mistakes, but we still love them and want to do anything possible to help them. If I were cindy, I know for a fact, that I would not lie nor even comment. I would put my arms around my daughter and get her the help she needs. casey has made a terrible mistake and it may cost her her life. In the sense that her family enables her poor choices instead of helping her make better choices, I do feel sorry for her. I think she should pay for her crime and I do not buy that she is being framed, but if I were her mother, I would help her deal with that instead of trying to make a buck off her tragedy. Frankie, what you last wrote is the truth plain and simple and you said it very well. We’ve all dealt with our adult children’s mistakes, and most of us continue to love them and try to help them cope with whatever they might do–good or bad. There’s a big difference, though, in helping your kids cope and enabling them to continue their bad behaviors free of consequence. There are a lot of us that are guilty of doing that and in my opinion that’ s how you get the Caseys’ of the world.
The core purpose of the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation, Inc. is to be a non profit organization to specifically look for missing Caylee as well as to offer assistance to families of other missing children.
Even when Caylee is found, George and I want to offer our help to anyone who may be going through the same thing that we have been through. I want this to be a positive outcome for everyone. There are so many people who go through this every day that we do not hear about. If it hadn’t been for Josh Duckett we would not have known who to turn to those first few days.
I want to set up an organization that has resources for people to tap into. This is going to take a lot of time and energy but this is my vision. Cindy

Since you’re not intelligent enough to have to have figured this out for yourself, you must have been advised to do this by your attorney.
Let’s see now: First, you install yourself and George as ranking officers in this “organization” in order to completely control all spending and decisions.
Then the $2,000,000 from LifeTime Movies is deposited.
You immediately transfer the titles of your house, property, cars, jewelry…everything you have of value…over to the Foundation. Next, you name whatever salary you want to pay yourself as President, and you’re set for life.
Now, those holders of previous judgements against George will never collect a cent from him, because legally he has nothing. However, if George decides to do something special like…mmm…go deep sea fishing. No problem. The Foundation simply buys itself a company boat and equipment…and Ol’ Captain George sets sail.
What about you? You accused Jesse Grund of kidnapping. Suppose he sues you for libel and wins? So what? Legally, you’ll have no assets, so he gets nothing. Oh, and say you decide to go to Hawaii for some surfing. Again, no problem. The Foundation can pick up the whole tab. Be sure to call a radio station out there and pretend you’re investigating a disappearance…keep everything legal.

Chris, at one point the Anthony’s had the compassion, support, and willingness of the community, even the country.
I dare say not one person did not hold their breath and feel a lump in their throat when they heard that 911 call.
Of course, it did not take them long to destroy every single one of those emotions, once they started spinning the lies, panhandling on every street corner, and demanding from others what they themselves refused to do.
Cindy has single handedly attacked, besmirched, and bullied, every single person that tried to find this child.

They have flaunted themselves before the public thus making a laughing stock of themselves.
Then; when someone dared call them on their behavior, they played the grieving grandparent card, I’m sorry, but they have used up every one of their humanity credits.
This community does not owe them any thing but distain.
If we as a whole accept their behavior, overlook their actions, give them a pass, what does it say to the next person who might see the abuse & death of a child?
What does that say for us as a party of this horrid event, that we would set silently by in acceptance?
I am a true believer in we reap that which we sow in life, we must all stare deeply at what we are willing to lay down beside.

Chris: While I understand your point, could you please explain how you would justify the anthonys actions when their precious granddaughter is nowhere to be found, your daughter has become mute or tells one lie after another, and you smell decomp in her car? Would you not stop right then and there and call the police? After all, at that point, if they believed Caylee had been kidnapped and they smelled decomp, would they not believe zanny the nanny had killed her and would they not want that found out asap? Why would they destroy evidence, wash the clothes, clean the car, put the knife through the dishwasher? That could have been evidence against Zanny! That could have been the evidence they needed to find out whose dead body had been in the car and could have led them to the kidnapper! They did NOT do anything to find Caylee because they knew casey had killed her and they started covering the crime! I sincerely hope you are not suggesting that you would also protect your child if you knew they had killed their child. Please tell me there are not that many sociopaths in our midst!!
Judy PC: I have long believed that as a community we need to make our beliefs loud and clear as to what we will and will not accept and not just leave it to the “authorities”. I feel the same way about abusers, alcoholics, druggies and others. If we call them “sick” and “understand” their behaviour, we justify it. Social abberants are just that. If they are “sick” they need to take responsibility for themselves and seek help. They should not expect the community to feel sorry for them and enable their behaviour. Back in the day, people who did not adhere to the common standards of the society in which they lived were ostracized by the community….maybe that was not such a bad idea.
Lets not forget that when cindy found money in casey’s purse, she took it. casey used cindy’s credit card I believe, but that was to buy *stuff*.

chances are very high that cindy KNEW that Amy’s money which she took out of casey’s purse was not *her* money. She knew casey had stolen from Amy but took it anyway. And there is video proving that casey cashed Amy’s checks at the bank, but cindy has YET to offer that cash she took to Amy.

There are those that call the way you feel about the Anthony family hate,I don’t see this as hate,but truth of what has and is happening in this case. Hating them has nothing to do with expecting them to do the right thing,stop the lying and duping the public and help the LE.
I pray TES will be successful this time and bring Caylee home.
Mand: Thank You! I am not a hater and I do not hate the anthonys, although I will admit that I have fired that off in anger. I FEAR. I fear that more young women will get drawn into a similar situation and that more children will die. I SYMPATHIZE. Actually with casey, more so than her family. I WEEP. I cry for the suffering that everyone involved endures. We must stop this madness NOW and right here so our future does not die with our children and our young people. I BELIEVE. I believe that if we refuse to stand against evil, we are actually contributing to it.

Fairly new here. Been reading the blogs on myfoxorlando and noticed everyone disappeared after the indictment. A link within forwarded me to the wordpress blog just in time for Judy PC’s horrible “bombshell” that was confirmed on NG Wednesday (the 11 days of decomp). I was catching up yesterday and all of the sudden…..the “About” thread was gone and I noticed most everything from the 18th on was gone to when I finally found it. Pretty creepy and wonder if Judy PC and RS got a little too close. Pretty coincidental. Then the forwarding threads cayleemarie.wordpress….gone too. As much as we want to know what is happening and want the evidence out, all should be so careful when divulging any information that may be sensative in nature. The last thing any of us want is to compromise the case against this momster. There should be no aquittals because of leaks that might give her the slightest chance of not being able to be tried again because they only have one chance to do it….she cannot be tried twice. I trust and crave the information that I have gotten from these blogs and have submitted my own thoughts occassionally (only when time allows while at work) and feel that more good than bad is coming out of them but at the same time, it scares me to think that our own fascinations and investigations may also hinder the justice we are all so dedicated to find.
Bottom line is justice for Caylee, God and Karma will take care of the A’s in a way that none of us can even imagine or plan.
While I’m here, what is this crap JB is filing for now? He wants all the evidence from the vehicle thrown out because of the “chain of custody” was compromised? I thought I heard that on NG last night. Here’s a bombshell for you JB…….the car was in the A’s garage for what about 24 hrs. before being towed to the LE forensics facility and it is well known that your client’s own family (and possibly herself) cleaned the car and everything in it. If LE has so much damning evidence left after the big car wash in the A’s garage, imagine what was there before they had this bright idea to obstruct justice and destroy evidence. Still want to claim LE or ORNL compromised the evidence from the car???? Or is this where KC begins to throw CA & GA under the bus?
The A’s better watch out and look both ways because a LYNX bus is near their neighborhood every 20 minutes!
Judy PC: I lived in Orlando up until the middle of June (I actually packed up and moved on June 14th and it blows my mind what was happening or what was about to happen to Blessed Little Caylee while I was on the road, starting a new life). I lived there for 23 years so if anyone needs info on any of these places of interest or roads or anything, just ask and I will tell you what I know. This may help with details for your writing.

They asked everyone else to get off there ass and look for Caylee. While they obstructed justice in every way they could and covered up evidence. Instead of standing up for Caylee, they covered up for Casey. I hope no one help them make a living off of Caylee!!!!!!!!!
